Already had a Google Home so paid the initial early adopter price and really enjoyed the smart hub. Unfortunately at the time did not have a competitor to the echo dot. Lo and behold we finally have one and was able to pick up during the 2017 holiday price of $29. It essentially does everything the bigger Home can do but slightly less volume however perfect for other rooms.

Just happy that Disney's First 4K Steelbook is done amazingly making sure to include the essentials 4K, 3D, and Blu Ray. The only thing lacking would be that the Digital variant is only HD vs UHD/HDR via Vudu.

Lots of things to love here. The build looks & feels premium. The customizable thumb sticks are great. Xbox accessories(Windows/Xbox app) allows for multiple mappings of the controller, stick sensitivity adjustments for various games allowing for two toggable configurations. This is the controller to have, period!
Yes, it does work for the PS4 however you'll need to have a CronusMax Plus/combo or Xim4 to allow for multiplatform capabilities. This runs only wired though Fyi. So a pretty penny for all to work ;)
If you bought this obviously it's for you or someone who games a lot so make sure to buy the additional Geek Squad Protection Plan for wear & tear. Purchased the 2 year option so any issues with the controller you'll essentially be able to replace. Don't drop, spill, throw it though since that's not covered lol. Though I'm sure your opponents will be throwing theirs ;)
When I was young & dumb I ended up purchasing several controllers through the years which seriously adds up and this is just smarter/cheaper in the long run. It's not guaranteed however I see this working for at least the next iteration of consoles too (Scorpio) as it currently works with my PS4 Pro as well.
In short - Worth it, insure it, take care of it, customize it and have fun!

Using a bias light setup for my theater setup and needed to mount the speaker above to make the silhouette of the TV tricking the eyes to get inky blacks. Not a problem for OLED's but waiting for that technology to mature first.
Mounted on my pn51f8500 Samsung plasma using the innermost screw holes. My first worry before delivery was how secure the mount is and the ability of the matt too prevent slippage. Upon setup, both were not an issue at all.

Usually priced at $200 I missed the deal to get this at $99 but waited long enough for it to drop to $120 and got it immediately. Less than one hour to setup with no extra tools needed. Btw, all materials are labeled making it easier to put together!
The breakdown
-Top glass layer is 52" wide and my 51in plasma (pn51f8500) is on top along with a couple of front speakers , X1 kinect, controllers, and 3D glasses.
-2nd layer is 31" between metal beams and 34" glass to glass with 6" height space currently housed by center speaker, Xbox 360, and blu-rays/games.
-3rd layer is 48" wide and 8 1/2" height space housed by a Yamaha receiver, X1, and PS4.

I've had my Lenovo Y480 since September of 2012 and she's still chugging along. It's got a 3rd generation I7 and can definitely handle tasks but it's always been held back by the 5400 HDD.
That bottleneck alone unfortunately slows down this workhorse collectively from running applications,programs, and of course boot up/down.
With this it has immensely reduced boot up time from 40-50 seconds to 13-18 seconds now. Programs that would take 5 seconds or so do in under 2 seconds.
Great price for this which I was able to get about $183 after taxes including a free installation of the SSD itself.
Regarding the OS, I made sure to make a factory dvd backup which took up a total of 3 discs and about 1hour altogether.
My Laptop is definitely good to go for who knows how long now. Too bad the screen can't be replaced as easily!

I was way young when I first saw the original Dredd. Of course I loved it but after getting older I can see it was a mediocre take on "The Law". This version by far is amazing. The 3d effects aren't too crazy as in pop in your face however work perfectly in addition to the bullets/drug usage in the film. This movie is brutal so definitely not for the kiddos. Got the 3d blu ray version for 8$ which can't be beat.
