Imagine being able to go wherever, to do whatever, whenever you wanted — to hop behind the wheel and just drive. From the bustling streets of New York City and Los Angeles to Miami's beaches and the stunning plateaus of Monument Valley, the freedom to take the country's coasts and interiors by storm, in a finely tuned, customized vehicle, is a feeling of pure exhilaration. Being able to share that journey and build a street-racing legacy with your tight-knit crew of friends makes for a gameplay experience like none other.Put the pedal to the metal and get behind the wheel in The Crew, a next-gen racing adventure that allows you to explore the U.S. in its entirety, from coast to coast. Build your crew of four through companionship or rivalrous adversity, and then embark on your quest to improve your rep in the underground-racing world and infiltrate and ultimately overtake the 510s, a gang grown around Detroit's street-racing scene. Explore downtown city streets, suburbs, hillsides, cornfields, canyons, desert dunes, race tracks — any terrain imaginable. Customize and tune your ride to suit your driving style and enhance your vehicle's look and performance. The obstacles in front of you are challenging, but remember — drive fast, drive hard and never drive alone.
Its ok! Driving across the map can be fun. The story mode serves its purpose though there seem to be many complaints about it not being very good. AI rubber banding can be annoying, especially when your car is highly over spec'd for a mission. Game is best played with the controller. I tried using a wheel, but there is too much free play even with wheel settings maxed. I've not seen an update for the PS4 version since purchasing the game near its release date. I'm not a big multiplayer fan, but I've read the multiplayer aspect is shotty at best. Many complain about hit and miss server connections, but I've only experienced one event where I could not connect to play the game.
Side missions are fun at first, but get boring after a while, especially when grinding to spec up your car. Played a lot at first, then put the game down after a few days and haven't played it since. I'm hoping the wheel I bought for this game and the PS4 will be better used when Project CARS gets released.
On a positive note, the driving is fun, the graphics are nice and the gameplay is smooth.
Not all cars can be spec'd, ie, race, dirt, raid, performance etc, which seems silly. Maybe Ubi will fix that in a future update, whenever that happens. I don't recommend paying full price for this game. Wait until you can get it on sale.

It's going to be hard to find a Bloodborne review that doesn't mirror another review. This game is a love letter to Sony gamers. This isn't a game that casual gamers can pick up, get in to and end up loving. From Software pretty much cemented themselves as famously difficult games created by them. Like Demon/Dark Souls, Bloodborne looks and feels like a sequel to those.
Bloodborne, in a nutshell, is a game that requires patience, repetition, patience, a good memory, patience, very quick thinking, and more patience. You will die. You will die many, many times in this game. That's half the fun. It's like a game of lawn darts to see who can throw it the farthest: in this game you need to see how far you can get before dying.
The payoff for this game is dying handfuls of times in the same area and finally beating that area to move on. I think the point of the game that truly separates the men from the boys with this game is who can last playing the game long enough before rage quitting and trading it in for store credit somewhere. Most games now will hold your hand through every step of a mission with automatic save points, constant achievements/trophies for doing the simplest of tasks and allowing you to upgrade until you become just shy of being as powerful as a god. Bloodborne will humble you in every regard from those instances.
As far as graphics, sound and controls: this is the best looking, sounding and feeling game of this new gaming generation. Playstation 4 is just starting to spread its wings as it delves into the power of their console. Bloodborne is everything we've been waiting for as gamers.
Other reviewers here and on professional review sites have mentioned one of the only flaws in the game are its long loading times. If that's all people can find wrong with this game, we need to consider ourselves lucky. Yeah, it's annoying because you're going to be constantly dying so you will spend probably 40% of your time looking at a black screen with "Bloodborne" written on it....but who cares? This is no doubt the first in a new series so issues like that will be ironed out once more of next gen power is unlocked.
