I plugged in the drive to my primary wireless router (FiOS) and let it configure for hours; nothing happened; the light kept blinking for hours. I tried to plug into my secondary wifi router and still didn't configure. Lights are blinking for hours. Not sure if there is a problem with my drive?
Documentation is very poor. I got only piece of printed card on 'how' to instructions. I looked online for user manual and it doesn't give me enough information on troubleshooting.
I am not happy with this product. I am returning it to BBUY.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Your question is very vague and generic. Is this laptop compatible with iPhone? Yes, it is, because you can download and install iTunes and connect your iPhone to buy/backup your apps & iTunes purchases. But, that's how much you can do with iPhone on a PC/laptop.

Can more memory (RAM) be added and how much more can be added? Right now it has 6GB.
This laptop comes with 6GM (1X2gb + 1X4gb). You can go upto 16GB on this laptop; or that's how much this processor supports, according to Intel website. You can remove these two chips, and slap two 8GB ram sticks to this laptop and you should be good to go.

How good are the speakers?
My current HP, and no I don't know the model, has bad sound. I can crank it up and I have a difficult time hearing it. Never had that problem with a laptop before. Just wondering if people were pleased with this model's sound. Thanks.
So far I find the audio to be good. Of course, when you connect this laptop with an HDMI then audio is played on the HDMI attached device. I play it work an external speaker. Nevertheless, laptop speakers are generally not that good. Adding an external - preferably USB - speaker is always advised.

Yes, this laptop has only one HDMI port.

what word program is it compatable with-2007?
will 2007 work on this computer
I believe earlier version of Word will work on this laptop since Windows is backward compatible. But, I downloaded OpenOffice from Apache website for free. It has Word, Excel and PPT. And it works just fine so far :)
