Great product! I owned the Fitbit Flex before this but after one year it just stopped working. So I bought the Fitbit Charge HR and it's wonderful! My two only complaints are that it is NOT waterproof (can't even shower with this one) and the battery gets low within a couple days, whereas the Flex would last about a full week before running low. Overall, a great product!

Does what it says! Water resistant so it's good for swimming and daily use. Heart rate monitor started out working fine at the beginning but the last two times it's been off a bit. It's effective for what I use it for but next time I'm going for the Bluetooth H7 Smart Heart Rate Sensor so that it syncs with the Polar app on my smartphone.

Does the HR strap transmit in Bluetooth 4.0 or LE?
I want the strap to be able to communicate with my iphone 6 as well as the wrist piece. Does the strap use Bluetooth 4.0 or Bluetooth LE?
That strap only connects with the watch it comes with. It does not have Bluetooth so it would not sync with your smartphone unless you buy one that states that it's Bluetooth, such as the Bluetooth H7 Polar Smart Heart Rate Sensor.
