Where do you connect the power cord to the tv ?
this is an extension cord. only connects to the power cord from your tv. not to the tv itself.

the power cord from my new 55" tv is very short. need extension.
Is there a type of cord available that is best for this purpose(powering the hdtv)? Or will any decent cord be enough? Wish I didn't need to use one, but since I do I want to find the ideal extension cord. Approx 8+ feet
this extension cord will work perfect. I had the same problem with my tv cord too short.
