I've gone through a number of mice recently...

I've gone through a bunch of mice and nothing seemed to work like I expected it should. Today The G603 arrived and I was hoping it would be what I'm looking for. I've been putting it through it's paces and so far, I'm pretty satisfied. The side buttons are out of the way, but easy to access by thumb. They are programmed back and forward out of the box. The scroll wheel has notches in it as you scroll, so it's not just a smooth scroll but rather a precise scroll, which seems to be to my liking. The top comes off with a slight pull, it's held in place with magnets. There are two AAs, but the mouse can run with just one. With both batteries in, the mouse is a bit hefty, again to my liking, but some may prefer to have it lighter if they lift the mouse a lot. One battery would obviously cut the battery life in half. I haven't tried the hi setting, it came switched in low which is where I've tested it at. There is also an off setting. The mouse is performing well with no lag in low mode and I didn't use the usb extension cord (included). My desktop is sitting to my left on the floor and my mouse is on my right at desk level. I've had so many mice (HP, Logitech, Microsoft) in the last 6 months that lose connections and stop or stutter that I went back to a wired mouse (the cable was driving me nuts) so that at least it cured the lag. If this continues to deliver the performance I've gotten today, I'd recommend it as an entry gamer mouse to anyone. So far, so good!

I bought this Brother printer because my old HP 8450 gave out and started leaking. I looked at everything on display and I liked that this unit stated the cartridges were long lasting and....well cheap. I've had it long enough that the printer still works with Windows 10, but was made for 7 and 8. The ink lasts like the box promised and for inkjet printing, page count is as important as print quality. Unless something drastic happens, my next daily printer will be another Brother unless Epson comes out with a low priced ink. I love Epson for photo printing.

I use Roku to stream media throughout my home. I have a Roku 3 in the den, a Roku Express in the garage hooked up to an old 55" Mitsubishi, a Insignia Roku tv in the bedroom and until now, a Roku stick in the projector. I bought the Premiere + because of it's processing power. The stick worked, but it was a bit clunky with all the apps. In addition, the lack of a micro sdcard slot in the stick was a negative. I got the Premiere + and swapped it for the stick, which is now a backup unit...until I need one out on the patio. The Epson projector seems much happier with the new unit. I grabbed an old 2gb micro sd card, inserted it and formatted it to the Roku. All my old apps showed up and after logging in to most of my favorite apps, the Premiere + streams over wifi very effectively. It's much faster than even the 3, which I seldom use anymore. I know Roku has changed it's lineup again, but this unit is up to my needs for now. I also know it does 4k, but I don't have the need for that at the moment. Perhaps that's where this unit will show it's age and I'll need to upgrade again, perhaps not. I'd recommend this to any owners of older Roku models.

Difficult setup, but it's a Windows 10 issue

So I unboxed this thing and it's pretty impressive for a speaker. I honestly didn't think I had any use for one, but since I was able to review it, I accepted. First off, it was a pain to get Cortana to see the speaker. My desktop version of Windows 10 kept giving me an error when I tried to connect with my existing outlook.com account. I ended up creating a second outlook email account to go around the error. Once done, I had to move the speaker from the living room to the office for it to see my network. Don't ask me why, my house runs tv on 4 Rokus with no issues. Anyway, I moved it, got Cortana installed and running, then moved it back to the living room where it works like a champ. I'm able to ask the weather or turn on KGB-FM online from San Diego and listen to classic rock on Iheart radio, You have the choice of Iheartradio, spotify and one other. Two of my favorites, KLOS and KGB are on Iheart, so that was an easy choice.
I also find it great to use when I'm watching tv. A question about a show or actor/actress crosses my mind and I can just ask Cortana.
Best of all, I can have her/it add doctor's appointments and school due dates to my calendar. I can see how this is going to simplify some things for me.

Former user. New version looks promising

I used Bitdefender in the past for 2 years. I believe it was 2015 and 2016. The first year was pretty good, but the second the software just seemed bloated and slowed my system. I gave up on the product and used Microsoft's free antivirus and another free source. When Bitdefender 2018 was available, I chose to try it again. I've only had it installed for a couple of days, but I see no lag or pop ups from the software. As of today, it runs totally invisible to me and that's what a good antivirus program should do. I should see popups for added services, that I need to update or do a scan. All that should be done in the background seamlessly...and so far Bitdefender is doing just that. If it stays that way throughout the year, I'll use it again next year hoping the company doesn't ruin it like they did to me before. As for this title, I would say it's a definite buy if you need a paid for antivirus program.

Nice to get a free year, but it only works on one

I installed the software on my mac mini. I had a feeling it was only going to let me install it on one machine, but many of Adobe's products allow for two machines. I use my Windows 10 desktop for most of my classwork and I was hoping to install it on that machine as well. Since I am reviewing the product, I figured maybe I could write a review on the different machines, but that didn't work out.
So it's on my Mac mini. It's not the base model so it runs fairly decent. No spinning rainbow wheel very often. The product cames sans disk. It had a link and a key, which was all I needed. The product downloaded fast and installed with no problem. I entered the keycode given and tada..access until the end of next year. That works great for me as I should graduate in July. The product looks like it will work just fine. I haven't used it very much as I didn't have any pdf's that I needed to view or edit. I imagine it will do exactly what I need it to next semester.

Definitely more than a blender

I've owned an old stainless steel vitamix for years and I've just gotten the Classic 575. It seems to compare nicely to the vitamix unit except that like everything else, it's got a lot of plastic. That said, it works great, has a lot of power and the controls are easy to understand. There's a nice little led counter that counts down the time left during the selected cycle. It has the smooth options as well as a 60 and 90 second cycle and a wash cycle. You can also use the 5 speed controls from low to high in manual mode. Finally there's a pulse button that we all probably use. If there is one downside, it's the manual. It has a few recipes, then repeats them in other languages. It refers you to the website for other recipes. It appears there are a lot of them there. The one thing I couldn't find on the website was a downloadable manual. I had to decipher the buttons myself, most of which were simple, but the wash one was something to figure out. All in all, I think this will be a great addition to my kitchen and would be in yours as well.

Installed on Mac with no problems

I have the 2.6mhz Mac mini as well as an I5 windows machine. The mac is what I use for photo and fun. I was going to choose which machine to install the software on, but going to the Adobe site, I see that I have the option to install the software on two machines. hxxps://forums.adobe.com/thread/1083824 for responses on the forum. There are 2 disks included, one for each operating system. Since the Mini doesn't have an optical drive, I attached one of my external usb optical drives to the unit. Adobe also has the option to download the software should you not have a drive available. The install took a while, but otherwise it was painless and worked on the first try. The serial # was asked for at the beginning of the install and I had to log into my Adobe account, but other than that, the software did it's thing and the program was up and running.
I've used Premiere Pro and this is a stripped down version, but for most occasional users, it offers what one needs to create video. I didn't have a project available to test the software with, but it appears to be able to do most of the things that I would like to do with video.

Hard to sync, but works great now

I unpacked the headphones and they looked great. They look similar to the Bose unit I have. Set up should have been simple. Charge the unit, press the sync button and sync it with my Pixel. I tried a number of times and the Pixel just didn't see it. Finally I laid the phone and the headphone side by side and it saw it. As soon as I move it, it disconnected. Luckily, once the phone had seen it, I was able to sync it like any other Bluetooth accessory. Once they were sync'd, all was good. They work well, sound good and I was happy. I kept looking to see which one was the right and left ear piece when after a few times I saw it. The unit is medium blue, but the cord to the right is is light blue. What a great idea. No longer to I have to grab a pair of glasses to see that little R or L, I just remember the short light blue cord goes in the right ear...genius! These will make a great addition to my collection of earphones (buds) for going to the gym and listening to audiobooks.

Wow, the easy network item I've ever installed

I got this today fedex and I always dread network items. I'm a certified network specialist, but just do it for a hobby not a career. That said I opened the box to see what goodies it had in store for me. There are the two cameras, a base unit (not to big), ac adapter, usb and 110 adapter for charging, two batteries (one for each camera), two magnetic bases for the camera and a lan cable. I read the included quick start manual and as usual, it looked too simple, but this time is was simple. Everything worked like the manual stated. The batteries were fully charged. I plugged them both in and attempted to charge them, but the light blinked for a few then went dark. I installed the app on my Pixel and signed up. It showed my item on the app and I chose it, it had me create an account and had the free cloud service as the first option, not hidden somewhere to get you to sign up for a paid plan like so many websites do. Once finished I held the large round button on the base unit down for 2 seconds and then the top button on the camera for 2 seconds and it linked camera to base and to the app. The app said to do the second camera the same way and it worked great. Everything was working great for 5 seconds. Then the app said the base unit needed a firmware update. Cool, it took about 5 minutes and then it said the cameras were offline. No instructions and no Google love, so I tried reconnecting them to the base unit and tada, both cameras were visible again. Then the first time I hit live view on each camera, they needed a firmware update. The cameras took a bit longer, or I was less on patience by then, but they blinked orange and blue and then finished. Once that was completed these things just work. I've got one in my garage so I can see if anyone is out there or if the door is open. The other I haven't decided yet. I'm thinking outside by the front door if I can find a hiding spot. These cameras are held on by a magnet base so they can be taken. There not cheap so I don't want to lose one.
So even with the firmware updates and re-connection issue, these are by far the easiest network product I've ever added to my home network. The cameras are portable and give a great picture. The app has split screens with room to add additional cameras (I believe this model is up to 5). I'm pretty happy with the overall setup. I just need to see what the battery life is like, but that's going to take some time. If there is any negative and this is being picky, I think the rubber USB cover doesn't fit well and the cord that attaches it to the camera doesn't tuck back in the unit well so the fit is sloppy. Since the port is how you charge the battery, one would want to keep that port clean and dry. The cover should fit tight to keep it that way.

The single use cups have one blade attachment, the processing bowl has one chopping blade attachment and a dough blade and the pitcher has one double stacked blade. So it has 3 accessories (4 if you count the 2 single cups individually) and 4 blades, the 3 chopping or sharp blade attachments and the one plastic dough attachment.

How low does the temperature setting go?
Using the remote it went down to 64 and up to 86. I hope that helps.

You must have a defective unit. The timer is really basic, like an old wind up timer and maybe the spring is damaged. I just set mine for 20 minutes and it worked just fine. I got a "ding" when it finished and the lights went out.
