This is a really handy tool

So opening the box and I see a bunch of parts. Where's the manual? Oh so only 3 steps to get this thing working. The packing could have been better, the base is under everything and you have to unpack the box to get it. Once you have it though, it's easy. Insert the tube into the base and the motor head onto the tube....tada! It said the battery needed charged, but I put in on the HUMONGOUS charger and it said fully charged. I was able to try it out out of the box....woohoo. Unlike the charger, this thing is nice and light. It has good suction and worked well on carpet and vinyl flooring. It would be great if it could stand on it's own, but it doesn't nor does the base lock in place. It just dangles if you pick it up, otherwise it leans against a wall or gets hung up on the supplied tool hook. It has battery level indicator and the ability to run it on 3 levels, carpet with brush, hard surface with a brush sensor or no brush spinning. If there's one downside, it's the same as a lot of other vacuums, no place for all the attachments and this thing came with a lot. It would be great to have some on board attachments as well as maybe a caddie to contain all of them. Overall this is a great unit for quick jobs and has enough battery life to do the whole house. I think I'll be using it for quick pick up such as the bathrooms, kitchens and any spills throughout the day.

Sync's with Epson Home Cinema 2150
on November 3, 2017

Verified Purchase:Yes
I bought these to see how the Epson Home Cinema 2150 does 3d. I read other reviews and the glasses sync'd with older Epson models. I can say it also does with this latest unit. I press the button on the glasses and it flashes red and then I get the notice on screen that the unit has found the glasses. My problem is figuring out how to get the monitor to display 3d correctly, but that isn't any fault of the glasses. I've yet to see a movie with them, so I can verify that they work properly, but I would think they do since they are paired with the unit. For the price, I'd go with these and save. You can buy 2 almost 3 for the price of the Epson glasses.

Works great, lots of pieces.
on October 30, 2017

I opened up the Multigroom trimmer and immediately something plastic hit the floor. This unit has a bunch of trim guards as well as 3 trimmer blades. I has the normal one that's installed on the unit, a wider blade for larger areas and a precision blade that's nice and small. After the overload of pieces, the one thing I don't like is that there isn't a led light that signals when it's charged. That said, the manual states a 5 minute charge is usually sufficient for a single face grooming. I just like fully charging batteries before I drain them. Otherwise, this is a great little trimmer. There's the round nose attachment that I prefer over the flat ones. It does take a second to figure out how to switch blades, the illustration in the manual leaves much to be desired. If you place your thumb on the back of the blade and your index finger under the cutting blade surface, lift up with your index finger and it takes a bit of effort, but it pops off so you can interchange the 3 blades. If you're looking for something to clean up around the ears and nose, trim your mustache, beard or those mad scientist eyebrows, this is your tool.

They work great as long as you follow Instructions

So first off, these in ear headphones, and a really nice box. When you open it, there's a little pod that contains the headphones and is also a charging dock.It also comes with a short USB cable, but no 110 adapter. That shouldn't be a big deal to most people, because if you're like me you got these things lying everywhere. Think I used one from my Samsung Nook and the cable from an Under Armour device to charge the unit. Of course there really aren't any instructions, just three illustrations and you're on your way. So to be honest, I was going to rate these a one star. I placed them both in my ears, started an audiobook and put my Pixel in my left pocket. As I walked to the mailbox and back, the Bluetooth connecting the left headphone cut out three or four times and the right one once or twice. I was ready for this as I read a review and the reviewer stated he had the same issue. When I returned home I looked at the box for any other instruction and tada there it was... an added note. It stated although Bluetooth connections are good for some distance, it was best to place the device is close to the right headphone as possible. So this took a little adjustment for me. I typically keep my phone in my left pocket and my keys in my right. I looked at getting an armband and I still may do so, but I switched pockets and the connection problem disappeared. I'm not a tall guy, 5 foot eight if I'm lucky, but the change in pockets was all I needed. I still don't get it because the distance doesn't seem that much difference, but if it works and I can use these on the treadmill at the gym, I'm golden.

Fettuccine blade did great on a honey crisp apple
on October 17, 2017
Posted by: RandallFlagg
from Hi Desert, CA
So I wanted to see what this could do, but I wasnt' in the mood for veggies. I ran over to the store and picked up a few honey crisp apples. I usually eat them sliced or just washed, so this was going to be the same thing. I saw the cinnamon apple recipe in the back of the included book, so I knew it could do the apple. I simply washed it and used an apple corer to remove the center and seeds. I then placed the entire apple (lucky it was small and just fit or I would have had to halve it) into the top and with the green fettuccine blade it took all of about 15 seconds. You can see the remaining top in the pic and it wasn't too much, maybe a bite or two. The rest came out nice, many long 12-15" strings and some short ones. It made for a great quick snack. Clean up was easy, just rinse a few pieces under hot water and used a drop of Dawn on a couple just to get the sugars off. Just have to be careful of the blade, that just got a good rinse. If there's any downside, it's that the unit is pretty tall with the two containers. Then you have the liquid container also, so this thing takes up some kitchen space. That said, I like it and I'm sure I'll have fun trying out some different recipes.

Awesome for a person like me with no knife skills
on October 16, 2017
Posted by: RandallFlagg
from Hi Desert, CA
As stated in the summary. I have no knife skills. My cuts are always thick to thin and never uniform. That makes dicing an onion difficult also. This chopper just works. I thought it was going to be like the manual Kitchenaid chopper I have. Veggies just bounce around and never chop. No so. I unpacked the unit, ran everything except the black motor housing under hot water. I then reassembled the pieces, slotted bowl into clear container, then blade being careful not to cut myself on the 3 blades. I took half an onion and quartered it. Not to tough, even for me and placed the pieces in the purple slotted bowl. I capped it with the black cap and attached the motor. Plugged it in and pressed down. It took 20-45 seconds and I had onions like you see at any fast food prep station. 90% of the onions were in the cup and the rest either didn't fall or were stuck to the cap. The hardest thing is getting all the pieces to come out of the clear cup for use. I'm sure I could have used a spoon or spatula, but the cup has 4 indentations that make that a bit difficult, so I just used my clean fingers. I rinsed all the pieces in hot water again, used a bit of Dawn on each piece, assembled and stored it in the pantry. As long as the clean up and assembly are this easy, I'd recommend this to anyone that had difficulty making small cubes (bits) of veggies.

Pour wine without removing the cork by using the Coravin Model Two wine system. The durable needle pierces the cork so you can pour, and then the cork reseals when the needle is removed to preserve the remaining wine. This Coravin Model Two wine system comes with two capsules that let you pour up to 30 glasses of wine.

Wow, this thing is pretty cool

So I unboxed this a couple of days ago, but I didn't have any wine around the house. Since this was going to be a review and I like Two Buck Chuck, I stopped at TJ and picked up a bottle of red and a bottle of white. If there is any downside to this product, it's the instructions. Once you've used it, there isn't much to it, but the first time it would be nice to have instructions with words, not just illustrations with a short caption in multiple languages. Other than that, I love this thing. I took my time making sure I look at the illustration, then the bottle and wine system. It didn't take but a minute or two to have it operational, but when you're trying out something new with an argon gas cartridge, you like to have your ducks in a row. The one step I messed up on is once you puncture the cork, the next instruction says to quickly press the lever and repeat. I didn't pay attention to the bottle being held over a glass and had it standing on my table. Needless to say, it shot (dribbled) a bit of wine. I moved to the kitchen counter and tilted the bottle and repeated the lever press. Two presses and I had enough in the glass to sip. I pulled the insert up out of the bottle as illustrated and rinsed it under cold water. Works great. It comes with a nice box that's molded to hold the unit or it has a bag that can be used.
I guess there is one more downside. I see online that I can get the argon gas refills just about anywhere that sells wine and the major online retailer, but Best Buy doesn't stock them locally, at least not at my two locations. Kind of a bummer since I can get them in 2 days from another retailer and not for 8 for BB.
Overall, if you enjoy a glass of wine and don't like having to uncork a bottle and letting it air out, this system is for you. A bit pricey, but you'll enjoy it.

Get more work done on your 10.5-inch iPad Pro or iPad Air (2019) when you connect this Brydge Bluetooth keyboard. The backlit keys let you type easily in any lighting, and the battery lasts up to one year between charges for reliable performance. This Brydge Bluetooth keyboard snaps easily in place and closes over the tablet screen on a 180-degree hinge.

Great if you want or need a keyboard
on October 7, 2017
Posted by: RandallFlagg
from Hi Desert, CA
Let's face it, you bought a tablet because you wanted one. Then like other electronics, a keyboard just makes some things easier. So first off the Brydge 10.5 is a wonderful device. Obviously it's made for the 10.5 ipad pro and if you didn't know it, you'd think it was an Apple product. The aluminum body looks great, but it doesn't cover the back of the ipad, which is a minus for me. I like to keep my stuff protected if possible. The Brydge keyboard is nice and slim, but if it's too thick for you, then you should go without or buy the Apple smart keyboard. I like the backlit keys and you can adjust the light to 3 levels. Next the hinges. I read a few reviews, most of them the 12.9 ipad and people complained about not being able to tilt the screen back really far without the unit becoming unstable. I didn't seem to have that issue, maybe I like my screen closer to 90 degrees but I tried a few spots and the hinges seemed good and the unit didn't try and fall backwards. I'd say making the ipad pro act like a macbook with the Brydge keyboard works. I also read that typing on this keyboard was the best, but I didn't find that to be true. I admit, I'm pretty fussy when it comes to typing. I'm old school and type about 45wpm and I have trouble with a lot of keyboards, this one included. It's just a bit cramped for this old dudes fingers. I will say that it's probably the best tablet keyboard typing experience I've had to date.
One bummer is the missing smart connector. You connect via bluetooth. Once the two are paired, the keyboard will power up when the unit is opened. The keyboard does power down after non use of 20 minutes and that's a plus. Nothing worse than forgetting to turn it off and when you go to use it, it needs a charge.
To wrap it up, if you want to have a keyboard for the ipad pro and you can live with bluetooth connection over the smart connector, I'd go with the Brydge. The backlit keys and the macbook feel is more functional. Also IMO, typing on the Brydge is better than the Apple smart keyboard. Otherwise go without a keyboard and use the tablet as a tablet...but what fun is that!

Cool little thing, doesn't do much
on October 3, 2017
Posted by: RandallFlagg
from Hi Desert, CA
So I unboxed Spiderman and it's a really nice box. Spiderman was right there with a cover that has 3 steps on it for a quick start. After taking it out of the box, you have to fight with the liner to get it out. There's no on spot to get a grip. Then the base has to be dumped out as again there is no way to get a hold of it. Nicely in a closed small box, you find the usb cord sans any power adapter. I used my Nook adapter to charge the unit which is one of the steps. The 3rd step is to download the software and it posts a link....that doesn't work. Well it does if you want to download the company's software for Star Wars toys. Since I'm in the Google Play Store now, I just search Sphero Spider and it comes up first on the list. I download it and start answering questions, wifi and password, email address, etc. I should be done right....nope. This thing needs to update the firmware, and two other lines via my smartphone. The first lines starts at 26% and the other two are at 0%. It takes a good 15-20 minutes to update. Then Spider-man finally says something. You have to learn a few commands and the double press took about 5 tries to get it to work.
There's really not much he does, but his vocabulary has enough words that I didn't hear any repetition..yet. The pros are the thing is cute and definitely a conversation piece. It's well constructed and like I said, the box is really nice. It will look good in my office next to other collectibles. I would only recommend it to individuals that collect Spider-man or Marvel items. I doubt it will be a huge seller and those are the collectibles worth collecting.

Pretty nice router
on September 26, 2017
Posted by: RandallFlagg
from Hi Desert, CA
The d-link router is a good unit. It does what the box says it will. It has a basic OoS (although the box says advanced) which seemed to have no issues with my setup. I have 4 Rokus in my home as well as a Mac Mini, a PC desktop and laptop, a Google Pixel, 2 Nooks and 2 tablets. Oh and a Wii, PS3, a smart tv, a smart Samsung Bluray player and a WDTV Live connected to my network at any given time. I didn't have any issues streaming to the Rokus and I list them as most important.
That's really all a user can ask of a router, they either work in the background and you ignore them, or they are a thorn in your side, forever having issues. This unit is the former...so far and it just works when I need it to. I do however have a Linksys EA9500 (AC5400) and a Linksys extender in the living room and I'll continue to use that setup for now.
This d-link unit will either be used as a spare or I may set it up as a bridge should I need one once I finish the back yard.

It's just the keyboard. It works via Bluetooth with your existing Microsoft Surface Pro 4,5,6, or 7 tablet. Together they create a laptop. So no, no camera since it's not a computer, just a keyboard. The Surface Pro would have the camera.

No, it's a Bluetooth keyboard that attaches to a Microsoft Surface Pro 4,5,6,or 7. You have to have one of those tablets and together they turn the tablet into something that works like a laptop.

Will this DVR system work with other non-night owl cameras (PAL)? I have some really nice wide angle, commercial grade cameras.

I'm across the pond, so NTSC, not PAL. I have a Lorex 4k system and this Night Owl 1080p system and they both use BNC connectors. I'm able to connect the Night Owl cameras to my Lorex DVR and it will automatically set them to 1080p with no issues. I'm guessing I could add the 4k cams to the Night Owl DVR, but they would probably downgrade to 1080p, so I didn't even bother. If your systems use BNC connectors and a male/female power cable, I'd say yeah, it should work.

Keep your kids safe online with this Circle Home Plus monitoring setup. The included device uses your router to manage every device on your network, and Circle App makes it simple to limit screen time, filter content, and check browsing histories. This Circle Home Plus monitoring setup is easy to set up and lets you create custom settings for each family member.

Is this product has app that can be accessed from cell phone? All I want is to have a control from my cell phone when to allow the kids to access internet or to limit their game time. Such as if I can set a certain time limit for the specific game.

Yes it will do that when the phone is connected to WiFi on your home network. The kids still can use 4G or your minutes to connect, so be careful. If they're locked out of WiFi, kids are smart enough or will just let the phone connect and you may go over your phone plan. As for you home network, all items, tablets, phones, pcs, macs etc will be visible to you on your phone. Each kid will have an account set up by you and on your phone you can limit their access, reward them for good behavior with extra time and set bedtime hours. You do need to purchase a subscription, 3 month, 1 year or lifetime. AND make sure you figure out how to limit their cellular access with services like AT&T Secure Family or whatever your provider offers.
