This stove was to replace my 30 year old GE that had a broken clock but everything else was like new even the burners. I did not want to buy a stainless steel or black. This stove has the same color as my other appliances BISQUE. When I took a picture ,you can compare the colors of the bananas and the white toaster. I think I had to wait for the factory to buy the Chinese metal so they can build it in the USA. Yes the bottom draw is on the flimsy size. Just plan to store any heavy pots and pans somewhere else. Please be careful of the ceramic top Geek Squad does not cover it under their plan. I saw a Samsung ceramic top stove that had a 5 year warranty but only one year from Whirlpool.
One thing the color is nice and it matches my other appliances. I did not want to remodel my kitchen which I will never get that money back. Most of the appliances been replaced in the last two years. The color is more like white maybe I started a new trend. .Stainless and black is now old colors.
The Best Buy store in Nashua, NH have great people and they will match prices from any home improvement store.
Just a few errors that I found after it was installed. The stove can not be adjusted lower than 36 inches. The bottom heat shield under the stove was not put in correctly from the factory and a missing cable connector that the installer missed to install. One vital thing was not shown was that the oven should be on for at least an hour to burn off all of the oils that are on the coils in the oven. The smoke was so bad that my wife was afraid that the local fire department would be called. I do not use any stove or oven but I like to use the microwave for cooking. My wife is the cook that uses this stove and she likes it better than her twice the price Samsung stove.

This is a dryer that replaced another dryer that was damaged by water from above washing machine that failed. This is a dryer that is a matching set for a 5.3 cu ft. this is a 8.8 cu ft. which is way too big to be put in a condo which has a limited closet space for this matching pair. This dryer is actually 4 inches deeper than the washing machine. The size is 32 inches deep to the washing machine which is 28 inches deep. This unit can be adapted to a 4 inch vent from either sides as well from the bottom.. When you are measuring do add the additional 4 inches for the vent coming out of the dryer. I had to notch the back wall sheetrock to accommodate the custom cut solid metal vent which is better than the dryer vent kit that comes from the store which is metal but it is expandable type that has to be cleaned often.. The side vent kit from Maytag cost $50 and you have to take the dryer apart to change vent outlet. I had to move my folding door track out also to accommodate the BIG oversized dryer .I could easily have used a dryer that was smaller with out tearing down a wall and moving a door. The dryer holds more than the washing machine so measure your dryer FIRST because it is not 32 inches but 36 inches deep. add the 4 inch vent pipe. With the energy saving setting adds over a additional time for the dryer to work. The wrinkle guard warning does tell you when most of the moisture has been removed from the clothes. The quirky thing about the dryer is after the wet clothes are inside the dyer, It wants you to check if you removed the lint from the previous cycle. After you opened and closed the dryer door than it will let you start the dryer!
I had to reconfigure my door opening from the left side to the right side which took some time to change out the hardware, it is in the installation manual.

This is my third HE washer. Best Buy matched the price that the home improvement store wanted. I even received a rebate on this washer. This washer replaced a 4 year old Maytag washer that had water on it from a overflowed washer above my floor.. This washer is a 5.3 cubic foot size which is close to my original Maytag that was 5.0 cu. ft. The original washer spin speed was 1200rpm while this unit spins at 850 rpm. One major fault I have with the unit is that it does NOT have any settings for colors or whites. This unit only has NORMAL setting. Not sure why they do not have those settings for colors or whites on the washer like my 4 year old Maytag which I loved to use!
Also when I used the setting or cycle guide BEDDING the washer kept trying to fill the washing machine with water to clear the unbalance load. No indication on the unit that it has a unbalanced load. I had to shut off all of the water supply and drain the washer and sort out the wet bedding and run the wet bedding on the Rinse and Spin cycle. I only put two sets of king size bedding. Be careful on how you load this washer. I used a furniture pads on the washer feet so I could move it from the wall easier. Make sure the washing machine is level. I did purchase a 5 year Best buy warranty.

Great charger will charge all Sony camcorder batteries. This charger will charge 50, 70, 90 and 100A Sony battery types. This unit will charge two batteries but not at the same time. AC-VQV10 does not come with a long cord but I use the AC cord that came with my Sony FDR-AX53 4k video camera . The camera came with a NP-FV70 battery. I bought the NP-FV100A as my primary battery for my camera. The camera will charge the battery but this charger gives a additional life to your battery . It adds a longer charger time but it adds additional time for your battery . It actually will top off the battery and with some batteries it will bring back life to a dead battery. It has a lcd screen that tells you what condition your battery will last This unit can not charge and power your unit at the same time. It is only one function only. It does come with cord to power up your unit. Sony did come out with a newer unit that will charge two batteries at the same time but Sony increased the price by $50 over AC-VQV10.
DO NOT BE FOOLED BY BUYING TWO BATERIES AND A CHARGER FOR UNDER $30! This is a good quality Sony brand charger. By pressing the display button it will go from battery one slot to battery two slot without changing the battery position while charging.

PROGRAM STARTED TO SET UP THE NEXT DAY FOR SCED. IT USED THE TEMPERATURE OF 80 WHEN I ORIGINALLY TESTED YOUR UNIT. IT SHOULD WAIT A WEEK BEFORE IT STARTS TO SCED MY THERMOSTAT. I DID NOT KNOW THAT YOUR PROGRAM STARTS TO SCED UNTIL NEXT DAY I SAW THE HIGH TEMPERATURE! THIS SHOULD NOT BE AUTOMATIC . I TURNED OFF THE SCED OF THERMOSTAT FOR THAT REASON. I HAD A ISSUE WITH THE WORDING OF MY FAN. I THOUGHT THAT THE FAN SHOULD RUN BUT YOUR TECH SUPPORT SAID THAT THE FAN SHOULD RUN ONLY WHEN FURNACE IS CALLING FOR HEAT. THE FURNACE KEPT RUNNING, I THOUGHT YOUR THERMOSTAT IS BROKEN. FOUND THAT MY FURNACE KEEPS RUNNING BECAUSE THE HIGH TECH SENSOR ON THE BOARD DID NOT GET ENOUGH AIR TO FURNACE SO I CONVERTED MY FILTER ACCESS COVER TO A ADDITIONAL AIR TO THE FURNACE RETURN AND CLEARED THE FAULT ON MY FURNACE CONTROL. I DID INSTALL THE HUMIDIFIER ON MY FURNACE. I DID NOT LIKE YOUR HUMIDITY INDICATOR THAT DOES NOT TELL HOW MUCH OF HUMIDITY YOUR UNIT IS SET FOR IT WOULD BE MORE ACCURATE IF IT IS SET AT HUMIDITY % NOT BY A MOISTURE INDICATOR. I DO HAVE A ADDITIONAL HUMIDITY CONTROL SET BY A HUMIDISTAT IN THE RETURN AIR PLENUM. YOUR HUMIDITY CONTROL RUNS AS A BACKUP. MY NEST SEEMS TO BE 3 DEGREES OFF BY YOUR INDICATOR. HOW CAN I ADJUST YOUR TEMPERATURE SETTING SO IT READS CORRECTY. I LIKE THE NEW NEST SMOKE DETECTOR THAT TELLS YOUR THERMOSTAT TO SHUT OFF FURNACE DURING A FIRE. YOUR ENERGY USE SHOULD SHOW FOR THE USE DURING THE DAY NOT JUST PAST 24 HOURS. I USE YOUR APP ON MY SMART PHONE TO CHECK ON MY HEAT A NICE FEATURE!

Be careful if you change your computer or your pc crashed ,you will have to input the info again. The face of the software does not mention that is 2015. The edge case has a very small 2015.

Hi! I am in my late 40s and have owned and/or used many washing machines, over the years. I moved to a new home over four months ago. The dryer was fine, but there was no working washing machine. This one is by far my favorite of any washing machine I have had. It is very easy to set. I usually don't like an electronic keypad and prefer old-fashioned dials, but this keypad is so easy to use and hasn't caused me any problems at all, so far. Actually, there is ONE dial. :) It spins around loosely until you stop it where you want, and is actually fun to set. While setting the machine, there are pleasant musical tones. And, the settings are useful: delicate, cold-water wash, bedding, normal... I love that the machine automatically adds the right amount of water. And, the machine is QUIET. Of course, you can hear it running, but it is not noisy. I have it in a closet in my kitchen, and I guess the closed closet doors help mute the sound, too.
When doing research online about washing machines, prior to my purchase, I found a group of people who prefer old fashioned washing machines and who can't stand the new kind. Well, this kind of washing machine is definitely a different kind of machine than the old-fashioned kind, but I have only seen improvement, nothing bad. Everything I wash comes out very clean, the same as with the old machines. I love that there is no middle bar (sorry, I forgot what it is called) for the clothes to get tangled around. The machine is huge and can fit any bedding you wish. I have washed a queen-sized puffy comforter blanket with plenty of room to spare in the machine. I have washed two or three pillows at once, but more could fit. You can also do loads as small as you like. It looks strange to have a tiny bit of clothes at the bottom of this big machine, but the machine automatically puts the correct amount of water, so I don't worry. When you put the clothes in the machine, it moves them around a little to balance the load. It is still a good idea to load the clothes the way I learned years ago, with heavier and bigger items at the bottom. Once I didn't do this and the machine shook a bit, but I moved around the clothes a little and the issue was easily resolved. That was the only time that happened, and I do maybe 5 loads a week. It would be ten, except that the inside of this machine is huge. And, other family members do another few loads. By the way, the outside just looks normal-sized.
I have heard people complain that clothes get wrinkled with this type of machine. Well, you set the machine for how much water you want it to extract, by choosing a "spin speed." The highest speed is for items that absorb a lot of water, like blankets and towels. Delicate items that dry easily, don't need much spinning at all. If you choose a spin speed that is too high for your clothes, they could get wrinkled. If you choose a medium speed, the water will be extracted and your clothes won't get wrinkled.
This machine is quite deep. If you have very short arms and/or are short, it probably will be difficult to reach items at the bottom. Maybe, you could stand on a step-stool, but don't fall in! I wonder if there is something you could put at the bottom of the machine to make the clothes higher up. Most of my loads fill the machine at the most halfway, maybe 3/4 of the way for a huge load. I am 5'4" and have long arms and can reach that last sock at the bottom, but sometimes I have to lean in or stand on my tippy toes. My daughter is 5'2", also with long arms, but has fibromyalgia and manages just fine. She has never complained about reaching into the machine.
One more thing: When I first ordered from Best Buy, I chose a different machine. I guesstimated the right size, instead of measuring, like I knew I should. When the machine arrived and was installed, it stuck out too much and the closet door couldn't close. I was so upset. The delivery crew told me to call Best Buy and they could switch it. They were right! Oh, and they also told me to feel free to use the machine that didn't fit as much as I want while waiting to exchange it, which was such a relief, because I needed to get my laundry done! I called the store where I bought it and explained the situation. An employee suggested some other models that were shorter from front to back. He gave me some measurements to look for, and then I browsed the internet and did some research. I wanted a very reliable machine that fit. I decided on this one because the dryer I have is a Maytag Bravos, a match to this washing machine, so I thought they were probably the same size, meaning the closet would close. Best Buy set up a delivery date that was soon, and they sent a team to pick up the other machine and deliver my new choice. No questions asked, and they exchanged it at no extra charge, even though this machine cost a little more than the other one I had chosen. They said there was no extra charge because of my trouble. I was the one causing them all the trouble! Wow! Also, I almost forgot to mention that I was worried what would happen if this new machine didn't fit. I was told not to worry, because then they would exchange it AGAIN! Double wow! I will make sure I only buy from Best Buy. I already buy all my computers from them and always get Geek Squad service. Now, I will make sure I buy all my appliances from them. They were super-nice and super-professional about this exchange. It was actually a pleasant experience, from the delivery people to the people at the Davie, Florida store (The Tower Shoppes) and back. I didn't even mention that I was given the utmost of attention and help when choosing the original machine, at the store. So nice, friendly, helpful. Thank you, Best Buy! Highly recommend Best Buy AND this washing machine.

NICE MACHINE BUT:

I also have the 5.3 machine with the matching Big Pig of a dryer. My 4 year old 5.0 Maytag washer and dryer were water damaged so I had to buy a replacement. I bought this unit to replace a Maytag HE washer that still had another year on my warranty. It seems that the stores push the washer and dryer pair but they neglect to inform the customer about how large the matching dryer is. It is a 8.8. Yes I also wanted to replace the dryer but I did not want too. Yes Best Buy has a good return policy. I did take part of my back wall to accommodate the 4 inches deeper dryer plus the 4 inch dryer vent. This washer is a replacement of a 4 year old Maytag. Yes it has bells just like my other Maytag and high tech but my 4 year old unit had settings for doing WHITES and COLORS. Maytag's reply was use NORMAL setting for both. Now I have to do some thinking versus using WHITES setting or COLORS setting! like my 4 year old Maytag washer.had

I had to stop the machine and drain the water and sort out the clothes manually to clear the unbalanced load. The washer has a energy star rating but not the dryer . It is made in U.S.A.
A FINAL WARNING " DO NOT RUN ANY WASHING MACHINE WITHOUT YOU BEING PRESENT TO SHUT IT DOWN THE ELECTRICITY AND WATER EVEN IF IT IS A HIGH TECH WASHER' ! A upstairs washer that malfunctioned cost over $10,000 of damage to my ceilings and personal property.

I have a very old drop in range that I'd like to replace. Prices for drop in ranges are too high. Which between the free standing and the slide in range would require the least construction work to replace a drop in? If possible. Any comments appreciated, thank you, Lori
Drop in stoves are built around a counter top that holds it in place and it can be free standing. A free standing stove has all of the controls on the back and it can be safer to use when you have little children that would play with controls on the front of the drop in stove. A free standing stove usually comes in 30 in. wide. I think you should check with your local Best Buy store to see the difference!

It is a direct drive. Maytag has a 10 year warranty on motor and tub parts only,. You have to pay for labor.

I heard the high effectiency washer doesn't use enough water in machine to get the smell out of your laundry after wash. How can that be corrected?
No problem this is my third HE washer. I have a top loader washer which I keep the LID open after I use the washing machine. This is to air it out and every few months I would get a warning on the washer to use AFFRESH in the washer you must be asking about a front loader washing machine. I have no problem with smell from this Maytag MVWB835 which is a top loader.

It is not easy to control your unit. The program needs to control it. The software may hang up. I had a problem when I tried to control the humidifier in my furnace. A good heating contractor can install the Nest. Nest can give you a list of dealers that are certified installers in your area. There is a fee for this sevice.

what warrenty comes with 2nd gen. nest
You can buy a extended warranty from best buy during your purchase. It maybe just a replacement plan. Nest has a good tech support team. Not sure how good it is since Google now owns Nest.
