Great hard drive!

I shopped around and considered all the other hard drives - including the higher range G Tech drives. For my purpose, the WD My Passport was the best fit. The new model of My Passport drives is also more durable and solid than the model from a few years ago. Moreover, I like the 3 year warranty which is longer than some other manufacturers. I'll buy another My Passport when this one is full.

Nice Tablet

This is a nice tablet. I bought it as a gift for my wife. She enjoys it much and uses it almost daily. The only issue she has is the battery life seems to be too short, which is why I'm giving it four stars instead of five. She would still recommend this over more expensive products though.

A New View of The Who in '82

My introduction to The Who's '82 tour was via the Who's Last live album, and if you've heard that album you know it leaves a lot to be desired. The sound quality and performances are strangely lacking. This Shea Stadium release offers a fresh glimpse of the tour and rights many of the wrongs of Who's Last. You'll discover The Who really did have an energy at this stage in their career. The setlist is also quite enjoyable, featuring many lesser known songs that were sadly dropped from the Who's Last album. The audio mix for Shea is simple but effective. Entwistle is on the left speaker, Pete is on the right, Roger is in the middle. Kenney may be a little low in the mix but the upside is you hear more of John and Pete. The video has been carefully restored and frankly looks much better than I expected for footage shot on video (not film) in 1982. Another reviewer criticized the video as "VHS quality at best." Rest assured, VHS never looked as good as Shea on BluRay. Just keep in mind this was shot in 1982 and you won't be disappointed. This is a worthy addition to any collection. After 33 years, it's about time we had such a fine document of the 1982 tour. Let's see more! (Waiting patiently for Charlton 1974 and Tanglewood 1970).

Captures a moment in history
on August 5, 2015

This release from the Stones' vault is more of a documentary than a concert. There are various scenes capturing the events of the day (Mick leaving home to go to the show, the band warming up before taking the stage) intertwined with songs from the concert. Most of the songs are incomplete and not all songs that were performed are shown. It's also unfortunate that guitars were sometimes out of tune, most notably during Satisfaction. Still, this is an insightful document of Mick Taylor's first gig with the Stones and the beginning of their classic 1969-1973 era. The movie could be better, but it's better than not having anything at all from this historic event. Thus, while Hyde Park may not be played as much as other Stones videos, it is a worthy addition to any fan's collection. Like other Stones From the Vault releases, the audio and video quality is as good as it can be given the vintage source footage. Nice stereo mix!
