At first I was suspect of going over-the-ear vs on-the-ear. The sound is great and I hardly miss additional quality from over-the-ear, and have actually enjoyed that they feel cooler (temperature) than OTE. Sound is typical Bose quality. Controls are very iPhone friendly. Price is steep, but I did get them on sale, which doesn't happen often with Bose products.

Incredible sound and battery life and they were only $100 on sale. I have some Bose and I would place the sound quality close to those, but a third the cost. The bass boost is thankfully a toggle. I find it works better for movies than music. I liked them so much I bought a second pair for my dad for Father's Day.

can you use these for watching tv?
I believe so. I watched streaming movies on both a laptop and iPad and the audio synced up perfectly.
