Well, after I had one for a few months, my wife started eyeing it, so I got her one for her birthday. Originally, I had purchased it for the exercise functionality, but after having it, I use it more for the other functions: texting, mapping, things like that. Even controls my GoPro and monitors my BBQ temps. My wife likes it because it's better than the Fitbit, but I have to dock it a star because of the high price. Also, the glass on this thing is super-tough. I work in construction and have yet to scratch it.

Simple math dictates that this is a win-win purchase, when the sale comes up.
If you are an iTunes fan, or a Mac fan, and buy their apps, movies, music, Netflix, etc., regularly, then you just saved $15 dollars by buying this.
FIFTEEN DOLLARS! That's a sixpack of very good beer, a decent bottle of wine, a bonus tip for the server at your favorite restaurant, a handsome donation to your favorite charity, or an easy slide into the offering bsket at church. Fifteen dollars can make you cool for a day.

Why not? Because I am already an Apple Music subscriber, at $15 a month, I might add. So I thought this was a great deal. But, no. This only applies if you are NOT ALREADY AN APPLEMUSIC SUBSCRIBER.
I went to enter the card code to my account and it was credited exactly what I paid: $100 iTunes credit.
Reading through the fine print, I find nothing that elucidates this. I am totally disappointed, because I could have bought a $100 iTunes Gift Card for $85, in the recent sale.
Don't make the mistake I did. Save your $.

The Apple Watch. What more can be said about such a thing? I'm an Apple fan, but I waited until the 2nd generation to throw the money at the watch. Also, I'm a runner and was attracted to the sport/waterproof system. It works great. Although it is not as good as some sport tech out there, the watch has enough other amenities to make it a viable crossover device. I actually really like the text/phone/notification features more than I thought I would.
Anyway, it's an attractive piece. If it was $100 cheaper, it would've got five stars. But that's Apple.

With something like a dishwasher, I think you really need to live with it for six months or so, to see how it works in a variety of circumstances. But this one seems to be doing the job, and it is attractive. The door pops open at the end of the cycle, which is new to us, but I think the air dry keeps everything more sanitary.
I am a general contractor and installed it myself, and the instructions seemed lacking. The bottom toe kick panel did not fit right, and did not sit far back enough to cover it with my matching cabinetry toe kick, and there is a rubber (waterproofing?) gasket down there that just hangs down and doesn't seat right, with no word about it in the manual. Also, why don't they include the tiny 90 degree hookup elbow with the unit? Such a pain.
For all this, I must dock a star.

Disney, man! Their genius has no bounds! Take a piece of plastic, put a computer chip in it, and BAMM -I'm throwing more money at them. The kids love it for an hour or so, and then there is talk about the next disc dad HAS GOT TO BUY. But you are a dad, too. You know the ruse. And mom took the girls away for Girl Scouts weekend and you knew that buying this stuff would placate the boys for a Saturday while you drank beer and took it easy. WORTH IT.

Not for the casual gamer, Fallout4 can suck you in enough to leave the real world behind. There is SO MUCH STUFF to see/do/kill/collect, that if you only plan on playing a few hours a week, you may want to move on to a different game. Seriously.
