It's been a long time since we've upgraded on our printer and they've improved greatly. We left HP because of the extremely high cost of ink. We have an Engineering firm and this Epson printer is fast, quiet and economical, not to mention all the features. We would definitely recommend this printer.

I'm a fan of LeapFrog in general, but ouch! the games and apps are super expensive! I would recommend doing only downloads. The one cartridge I bought was lost within the first two times they used the system. Expensive lesson at $25 a pop. Hopefully, it will hold a lot of downloads. The 2 youngest gkids each have one and they both flipped when I got them for them for our long drive to Disneyland. It was a great investment.

Can you scan document size 11 x 17 inches?
Yes you can. My husband is an engineer and that's why he bought this particular printer. He says you can even scan a 12x18.

HELLO I WAS IN A LOCAL BEST BUY STORE AND TRY PURCHASING A NEW PRINTER. THE SALES GUY TOLD ME I HAD T PURCHASE NEW INK ALSO BECAUSE THE INK HAT CAME WITH THE PRINTER FROM FACTORY WAS ONLY DESIGN TO PRINT ABOUT 100 PAGES. MY QUESTION IS WAS HE CORRECT OR WAS HE TRYING TO UP SALE ME.
Yes, in this instance, he was correct. The printers have very little ink with them and we've always had to immediately purchase new ink. We have a business, so we couldn't afford to just print a few pages here and there. Try Epson; their ink is more affordable than HP and we've switched over to Epson. HP can sometimes have a real cheap printer purchase price but you'll pay for it in the end with expensive ink.
