Satisfy your appetite for both fast food and side-splitting laughs with Warner Bros.' release of Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Vol. 1. Each episode is presented in the original, full-frame aspect ratio of 1.33:1, and the image looks as good as ever. With solid, vibrant colors and a solid transfer, the episodes will likely look better on this DVD than they did when originally broadcast on cable. The Dolby Digital Stereo soundtrack rings through clear and clean as well. Of course, what fans of the series will likely be most excited about with this release are the extra features. In addition to offering the original cut of "Rabbot," series creators Dave Willis and Matt Maiellaro give unconventional and entertaining commentary on three key episodes. After walking viewers through the original, un-aired episode "Rabbot," Willis and Maiellaro are joined by vocal contributors Dana Snyder and Carey Means for "Space Conflict From Beyond Pluto," and offer what may be one of the most unconventional and hilarious commentary introductions to date on "Mayhem of the Mooninites." If you're a fan of the show, this disc is without question a must-have. Not only does it offer a great presentation of 16 classic episodes, but it also provides a welcome glimpse into the demented minds that created this "Adult Swim" phenomenon.
