I expected more once I had the older version. I had trouble with the firmware update what screw with my phone (S7 edge) that starts to heat up and restart itself very often, specially when I opened the gear 360 app... Picture somehow became more pixelate than previous version. However 360 videos are ok and live is awesome, for me, the best feature of model 2017. Can also take pics 180 = wide angle which is nice kind of action cam + 360 together... After all... yep I recomend it !

Is $108 dollars worth it cuz thats how much i payed and how much water can it really resist?
I think it is worth because compared with other small speakers it's really powerful and excellent sound quality. No distortion.
On the box said it's splash proof... Well mine got some rain and still works perfectly. But don't make it dive. There is another model that can actually dive in a pool if you want.
