can a turntable be hooked up to this receiver?
If you plug your turntable straight into the receiver, you barely get any sound. You have to get a separate signal boosting box, which I found for about $30, and the turntable plays great through it. There are different booster boxes with different prices and different qualities.

The receiver doesn't have a CD player in it, but if you connect any CD player to it, it should work.

Anyone connected an IPOD to the USB port?
I did, but it didn't work. It wanted to reset my iPod settings. If anyone figures this out, please let us all know.

TV INPUTS
MY TV HAS RCA AUDIO OUT JACKS, SO I ASSUME THAT I CAN PLUG MY TV AUDIO INTO THIS RECEIVER.. IF SO WHAT INPUTS SHOULD I USE ON THIS RECEIVER. ??
If you are using a cable box and have an hdmi output from that box, you don't have to use RCA jacks. But if your box doesn't have an hdmi output, as mine didn't until I got a new box, I think you plug your RCA jacks into the Phono input. Then you would have to run the audio from the receiver through one of the AV settings. I used AV setting 2. Double check your manual, but it worked great for me.

Yes. You can set the door up to open to the left or right, and the door has holes on both sides so the handle can be attached on either side. I had my unit delivered, and the delivery men set it up for me.
