A LIL PAIN IN THE PROCESS...

EVERYONE I TALKED TO TOLD ME HOW EASY IT WAS TO INSTALL A ROUTER... HOOKED IT ALL UP ACCORDING TO THE DIRECTIONS, OF COURSE IT WOULDN'T WORK. HAD TO CALL MY CABLE COMPANY WHO FINALLY HELPED GET IT GOING (NOT EVEN SURE HOW!). IT WORKED @24 HRS AND QUIT! SPEND 2.5 HRS ON THE PHONE BETWEEN CABLE CO & NETGEAR...RESULT=DAMAGED ROUTER!! NETGEAR WANTED ME TO TAKE IT BACK TO BEST BUY & EXCHANGE IT, "THAT'S ALL YOU HAVE TO DO" ALSO WANTED TO BLAME IT BEING DAMAGED ON SOMEONE AT BEST BUY "DROPPING IT"... AFTER A LIL CONVERSATION OF MY DISPLEASURE OF HIS ATTITUDE OF THE WHOLE BLAMING BEST BUY FOR DROPPING AND "ALL I HAVE TO DO"... WE CAME TO AN AGREEMENT WHERE THEY SHIPPED ME OUT A NEW ROUTER FROM NETGEAR, AND I SHIPPED THEM BACK THE DEFECTIVE ONE! I RECEIVED MY NEW ONE, FOLLOWED DIRECTIONS FOR SET UP, NO PROBLEMS WHAT SO EVER, AND IT'S BEEN WORKING GREAT FOR A WHOLE 2 DAYS SO FAR! I FEEL MY WHOLE PROBLEM WITH THE 1ST SET UP WAS IT WAS BAD! BUT I'M UP & RUNNING AND SO FAR SO GOOD. JUST NOT HAPPY WITH THE PRODUCT BOUGHT IN STORE... REAL DISCOURAGING ALL THE TIME I HAVE INVESTED AND MONEY I'VE SPENT PAYING MY CABLE COMPANY FOR WIFI INTERNET & COULDN'T EVEN USE IT!!! BUT THE ONE I GOT DIRECTLY FROM NETGEAR HAS BEEN GREAT... SO FAR!
