Cannot sustain rated load.

I purchased two units, one is working fine with a load of about 85-100 watts. However, the other one was working on a load of 180 watts, and it went into some kind of protection mode and shut down. I reset it by removing the battery, and tried again. A couple of days later, same thing. Tried it a last time, and boom, same thing. Tried it on a different computer, lower load, and boom, shut down. I replaced that UPS with an identical one from Best buy, and sure enough, within a few days, that started shutting down the same way. This leads me to believe its a design flaw. The unit does feel fairly light compared to similarly rated UPS's.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

For the discounted price, nothing can touch it.

Verified Purchase:Yes
Bought it at the deal-of-the-day price. For that amount of money, it is superb. Full price, its still a very good driver in its price range.
What's great about it: Large throw, small box, tons of power handling.
What's not so great: nothing at this price
I would recommend this to a friend!

ValueRAM is aptly named.

Great value for those who need this type of RAM for older computers and motherboards.
I used this stick on an older motherboard (NF7-s) that already had 2 sticks of 256mb each. These were running interleaved for a modest speed gain. I was able to install this new stick in the third and final ram slot, and after resetting the CMOS, everything ran perfectly, plus, the new memory also ran in interleaved mode! Nice bonus.
What's great about it: Great price, fairly fast
What's not so great: Not the fastest ram in its class.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Complete junk
By disappointed
Bought 3 to replace an APC unit that failed just after the warranty period. Two of the new units went into shutdown for no reason and failed to restart. Am bringing the units back. Will not buy APC again.
Too bad the review does not rate 0 as that is what I would rate the product.

Agreed with this, although lightly loaded, it does seem to work.

And now the third one is acting stupid
June 28, 2016
I kept one of these units because it SEEMED to be working on a very light load (router, modem, switch). But now at the slightest provocation, it seems to be allowing the voltage to drop, enough to freak out my devices. At least its not doing the protection mode like the other two. I will look into returning this unit as replacing it with something more substantial.

Laptop ram for Dell laptops

I want to increase ram, if I buy 2 2gig desktop ram, and install 1-2gig ram with 1 gig existing ram will that work
That depends on the motherboard, but it is likely that, if you have 1gb installed, and have an open slot for another stick of ram, then the 2 gig stick should work, giving you 3gb or ram. But its not guaranteed, it depends.
