The season is def an good one because they did more but no good case. only gripe.
What's great about it: all the commentary is after they knew they were leaving the show and they get reckless on Heff
What's not so great: the case is a regular dvd case not a cool box.
There is something to be said for music in acoustic. It has a very different sound and especially feel. Dave and Tim are masters of taking music and making it something to drive along to or relax and have a beer on the porch.
Being a 2 disc CD and having a little conversation from Dave and what thinks about the world happening around him is good to hear. Also, with those guys, you get to hear a lot of unrecorded sound. My favorite tune is sister and if you’re a Dave fan, go get it.
This was a movie that I totally got what I was expecting. Frank Miller is the comic genius that was behind "Sin City" and the dark-side of "Batman Begins." he has this way of making a story flow within his books.
This was seamlessly done when transferred from one media to the other. "300" is pure visual candy in HD DVD and the sound is amazing. The action scenes start to finish are memorable. The story of the 300 spartans is a very interesting one but with that twist. Even if you only have have standard DVD, this on is a great addition for the library.
The NBC series' first season begins with the origin stories of several lonely, disconnected people who learn they're destined to become superheroes. At the center of the unfolding tale is Peter Petrelli (Milo Ventimiglia), a nurse haunted by cryptic dreams who believes he's meant to do great things with his life. Peter tries to convince his politico brother Nathan (Adrian Pasdar), who is running for the U.S. Senate, that something strange is happening to both of them, but Nathan is adamant about maintaining a low profile and keeping his personal life out of the press. Meanwhile, a Texas cheerleader (Hayden Panettiere) discovers she's completely indestructible, but she's in for an even bigger shock when she realizes her family is hiding a dark secret. Over in Los Angeles, a beat cop (Greg Grunberg) develops the ability to read minds, and an Internet stripper (Ali Larter) begins to manifest a murderous alternate personality. And in Tokyo, bored cubicle drone Hiro Nakamura (Masi Oka) is desperate for the kind of adventures found in comic books and Star Trek. (In a sly in-joke, Hiro's father shows up later in the season and is portrayed by Star Trek alum George Takei.) Hiro's wish is miraculously granted when he develops the ability to travel through time and space, teleporting himself instantly from a Tokyo subway to Times Square. But Hiro's elation quickly turns to fear when he witnesses a nuclear explosion lay waste to New York City. Upon teleporting home, he realizes he's just seen a glimpse of a catastrophe that will happen in a few weeks unless he can stop it. Heroes from across the globe gradually meet up and form alliances as they try to prevent the nuclear attack and fight back against a shadowy, superpowered serial killer known as Sylar (Zachary Quinto), who is able to murder the would-be superheroes and steal their abilities in the process.

Definitely the best show in a very long time. This is a show that I had to be told about. My wife had gone ahead and DVRed the show. It is awesome and will become your favorite show after you purchase the set. From the art of Tim Sale to Tim Kring to the Hands on feel of Jeoph Loeb’s involvement, it is a winner.
The 7 disc set itself has a lot of great features such as the art behind the show, all 23 episodes including a 73 minute original Pilot that shows you what could’ve been, documentaries, commentaries, behind-the-scenes featurettes, and deleted scenes. The video transfer on DVD looks great and sound is amazing for a TV show. And who doesn’t love 16x9!
