Planet Earth producer Alastair Fothergill teams with the BBC to offer this Emmy Award-winning look at our planet's oceans, and the wondrous marine life that inhabits them.
The picture quality is amazing. This is why blu-ray exist... this is how nature photography is supposed to be viewed. The only way you can improve from here is to go 4K. This set is awesome, highly recommend if you like nature, the ocean and all that jazz.
Jessica Alba... 3D... Sin City... what could go wrong? Apparently, quite a bit. Sin City 2 is no where near as good as the first film. It's pacing is off, the story isn't as intriguing... I could go on. You've already heard these things. I still enjoyed it. The 3D blu-ray is awesome, and kind of makes me wish the original film had a 3D blu-ray release. Highly recommend this combo pack, especially for the price, which is usually quite reasonable now that it has been out for a while.
I bought this movie on whim because it was on sale, it has zombies and the blonde on the cover kept looking at me like... "You know you want to." So yes, it has zombies, blondes, an occasional boob even... is it funny? Sometimes. It is comparable to the classic Shaun of the Dead? Not even remotely. I feel like this film could have been this decades Goonies if it was done right. In fact, this plot would have been a super cool Goonies sequel in the 80's. It just comes off as a rushed film aimed at teens that like the Walking Dead and want to see a hot blonde with a shotgun walking around. Nothing spectacular... but it is, at the very least, relatively entertaining. I'd probably rent this one over purchase, but the blu-ray combo pack is actually very well done.
Welcome to 2015. Women can be sexist, rude, drunk and whatever else they feel like being... and you better not judge or else you're anti-women. I'm kidding of course... this movie was actually pretty funny, and I think a lot of early to mid-thirties women out there probably connect with the main character. Not the best comedy of the year or anything, but it's worth a view. Sold blu-ray release as one would expect with $100+ million domestic gross comedy film.
Interesting action flick with a rather unique ending. Probably not for everyone, but I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Great blu-ray release. Film looks great.
This is a great film. Bryan Cranston shines as usual. The blu-ray is your standard studio release, nothing wrong with that. Digital HD Ultraviolet copy is always a plus.
This is a top notch blu-ray release. My only disappointment is that the 4K blu-ray that recently came out does not come with the 3D blu-ray, so you have to buy both versions to have everything. It'd be nice if studios would include the 3D blu-ray with the 4K UHD blu-ray releases. I'd pay a little more to not have to buy both sets... but then again, that's probably what they want you to do.
