I ended up returning this iron before using it because of its size. The pictures don't show that the vents do not cover the entire sole plate. They are only positioned near the top. This looks like it would be a great travel iron, but a terrible one to use day to day. I'm still giving it a good rating because it will fit in your travel bag, but don't buy for use at home.

Good batteries for the money

I got these batteries on sale at my local Best Buy and they work great. I have used them mostly in kids toys and remotes and they hold up pretty well. I would not use them in any high performance situation, like cameras or flashes, but they will handle any run of the mill everyday uses.
