I really do like these flood lights over the A19's especially because I have a large # of recessed lights. Also, mixing and matching the two bulbs, when you set a "Philips Hue Scene" that's already set, the colors are slightly off. I needed another Flood to uniformly fill one room with floods and the other with the A19 bulbs. The color difference is slight but noticeable - that doesn't impact my rating, just something I thought worth mentioning. But it was on sale and I saw an opportunity to expand into another room and be able to even off the A19s in one place and the BR30 floods in another so I took it. When Best Buy puts something on sale, their prices are hard to beat.

This is a great product. It's really small which is good if you're using it in a USB port perpetually. So if you're buying this, I assume you know what you're getting. It really is :low profile in that sense. If I need to carry something around, I prefer something just slightly bigger but for the price (on sale at the time), the physical size, the storage capacity, the 3.0 connection speed (which is now a requirement for me), this was a great buy.

I bought these three flash drives. The capacity was all the same, one was cheap and only had a 2.0 connection speed and it had a cover that swiveled and was made of plastic. Before long the swivel broke off in my backpack under the weight of my books or got bumped the wrong way and breaks repeatedly. The 2nd was an ultra tiny thumbnail sized drive. The capacity was good & 3.0 speed were good but it's so small, so now I just keep it as the drive that never leaves the USB port. Then I came to this product. On sale! IMO 3.0 connection isn't an option anymore, it's a requirement. There are some drives out there this inexpensive, but not 3.0, and not enclosed in sturdy, hard, metal outer shell. This is thin/slim but not so small you can never find it, it's solid and in a metal housing so it's sturdy. This is the flash drive that's just right. The fact that it can hook it up to my phone is just an added bonus.

I thought this quick charger would be great and just much easier to use but I end up plugging it in to charge most of the time anyway. The battery runs low and still work to be done so I'll plug it in to charge and use. Otherwise, if you're picking up and putting it down, I always forget to place it back on the quick charger. Not to mention it is only a minute or two so it doesn't receive much of an energy boost so during the day, or while in the car, or at home during the evenings, I plug it in for a charge. And then, you have to consider and be aware of which cases or which holders you can use that won't interfere with the quick charging ability. And then when I do place it on the charger, many times I hear the "charging beep" and come back to find it's not really charging. There are these "false positive" charging beeps. You walk away thinking it's charging, look down and see the "quick charging 1hr and 10 min till 100%" and 50 minutes later you see it hasn't charged at all -gets very frustrating.

Are these 3rd gen BR30's? Are these weatherproof? I would like to replace my backyard floodlights with the Philips Hue floodlights, but not sure if they are rain resistant and can handle the sun. I live in Arizona and it's monsoon season.
These are labeled for indoor use only. I don't know if I'd trust them outside. Especially because of their cost.
