This is a very nice laptop. It is build rather elegantly. It is thin through out. Screen is sharp and clear. Though the background light has very slight discoloring (uneven). You won't notice much though. Keyboard is great. It's responsive. Bluetooth paired with my bluetooth mouse and bluetooth speakers easily (Amazon Echo and JBL). At 15.6 ", I wouldn't treat this as a tablet. Thought it's a convenient feature. Battery life is quite remarkable, I was able to run it for 6+ hours once and still has over 20% left. AC wireless is fantastic; I was able to achieve my maximum download at 110mbps internet connection. Connecting to my home network NAS, I was able to acheive 15MBps (or 150mbps). Overall, I am very happy with the laptop. The reason I gave it a 4 stars is the lame/lousy support from HP and Best Buy. Best Buy provided an excellent price for this laptop over Black Friday 2016. However, BB sales person was unable to tell me if it has m.2 slot (for adding an SSD and no need to swap out the 1TB drive). I can't fault BB as this is not their bread and butter. HP support however just down right horrible. After obtaining the laptop, HP hasn't upload any of the drivers onto the website. Asking about m.2 slot and not a single one can verify the existence. In fact, the mother board printed "msata" for the slot. In reality it's really pcie slot. HP finally put the driver up now. However, their support has been down right pathetic. A group of laptop owners have posted details on how to install the drive and reinstall/migrate Win10 to SSD. Bottom line, great laptop, lousy HP support. Great price.
