Nice mid level digital camera.

I prefer film so I use this to set up shots for my N80, gives me an idea of how it will turn out. I use it more often than my point and shoot camera at parties and events. More controls to play with than the D3100, but less expensive than the D5200.
What's great about it: Great camera for the price, less than the D5200

Picked this up with my D5100 at a reduce price. The few shots I've taken are very sharp and clear. Should be a nice lens.

You're out on a photo shoot with your very expensive SLR camera when it begins to pour like it's a monsoon; are you sure your camera bag will hold up? Be sure with this all-weather camera bag from Lowepro that protects your camera from harsh elements.

Will only hold the camera and charger

This came in a package with my D5100, but I find it will only hold the camera and the battery charger. You have to purchase lens holders to attach to the side, and then only one.
What's great about it: Nice looking
What's not so great: No space for accessories
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
