The Doors at their best

Many classic songs on this album, including Moonlight Drive, Love Me Two Times, People Are Strange, and When the Music's Over. Released in the fall of 1967, a lot of now "Baby Boomers" were heading to college with a new music direction. The Doors were a shift to pyschedelics from the British Invasion music that had dominated '64 - '66. Nearly 50 years later, this music remains "alive today" for all to listen to.

What's great about it: Unique sound and songs. No one sounds like the Doors
What's not so great: Nothing

No classic album will take you back to the Sixties faster than Disraeli Gears. No one ever copies Cream because they can't and watching how this album was made will show you why. It was a short and unique period for these 3 musicians to make great music, and then move their separate ways. Enjoy their time together watching Disraeli Gears.

What's great about it: Clapton, Bruce, & Baker is what makes this album and band so great
What's not so great: Nothing, in fact 30 minutes beyond the TV show is a plus.
