At work I have the newest Canon 35mm f/1.4L MkII which is nothing short of spectacular. Super sharp, but really heavy and quite expensive. I decided to try this f/2 version due to positive reviews, affordable price and the fact that it has image stabilizer which I find more useful than f/1.4 aperture (f/2 is plenty). After testing the lens for couple of weeks on my Canon 5D MkIV camera, all I can say that it's definitely a keeper. Wide open (f/2) it's decently sharp. Not even close to sharpness levels of f/1.4L MkII version at f/1.4, but still more than good enough. But, once stopped down to f/2.8 and especially f/4-5.6, lens is every bit as sharp and detailed as f/1.4L MkII lens. I've been shooting in RAW format and comparing images in both Adobe LightroomC and Capture One Pro. Results are simply stunning for $550 lens. Sharpness (beyond f/2.8) is as good as it gets, files are extremely detailed, contrasty and colorful. Bokeh is super creamy and simply beautiful at f/2, and minimum focus distance creates some amazing out of focus areas. IS is silent and very efficient, making this lens a real gem in Canon's collection!

I gave it 4 stars because I obviously got used cover (dust and fingerprints), no matter it was placed on the shelf with new items for full price. These filters are a perfect fit, and way better then DJI filters. They fit nicely and securely. Just make sure that filter slides al the way to the end over the camera, otherwise camera will fail the gimbal calibration. No color cast or sharpness issues, and actually a must-have for the Mavic Pro since it can't control the aperture by itself unlike the Phantom Pro.

Lightweight but Stable

This tripod really exceeded my expectations. It's lightweight and seems less sturdy compared to more expensive 055 series, but it held my Canon 5D MkIV with 70-200 f/2.8L II lens with ease and produced some amazing 20 sec to 2 min long exposures, without a hint of blur. The ballhead is fairly basic, but does the job. The biggest con for the ballhead is that there's no panoramic knob, but for the money it's really good. If you need a light but stable full-size hiking tripod, you can't go wrong with this set.

I'm a huge fan of first two JJ Abrams directed Star Trek movies, and was really afraid that this one, directed by Justin Lin is going to be nothing more than popcorn fun, basically "Fast & Furious in space". Well, it's a change in pace for sure, and the movie seems a bit more like a Star Trek series extended episode, but it's still clever and definitely fun.
This steelbook edition is beautiful looking, comes with digital copy that is redeemable in iTunes (AppleTV) as well, and looks great next to first two movies' steelbooks :-)

Way better than expected

I used original 5D and 5D MkII but skipped MkIII version due to lack of updates in sensor resolution and dynamic range, especially noisy shadows. I've been using Canon 6D instead for the past three years, and I think that it's one of the best values in camera world. I hesitated to even try out the new 5D MkIV and was contemplating jumping ship over to Sony and their amazing a7R II. Well, I can say I'm extremely glad I went with MkIV. Camera is a huge upgrade from 6D in every sense, especially AF, but also enormous sensor quality upgrade compared to 5D MkIII. I'm using 1DX MkII as well, and I prefer 5D MkIV. Camera body is very light, super responsive, AF performance is on par with 1DX MkII, but sensor is simply phenomenal. Dynamic range is 90% identical to Sony a7R II but you get to keep Canon's beautiful colors and skin tones. 30Mpx is plenty (I'm printing 24x36 regularly) and the files are simply beautiful. I'm not shooting lots of video, but from what I've seen so far, the quality is stunning. Yes, 4K video is using 1.7x crop and MJPG codec is using a lot of memory card space, but the quality is simply amazing. Try it, you won't be disappointed. I know I'm not!
