Funny Movie and great formats

Not a review of the movie but that this comes with the bluray, dvd and a digital copy code for either UV or iTunes.
Best Buy had a great price on this and it was a great deal. Keep you eyes open when they give away Blurays with digital download because there is so much convenience in these purchases.
My Best Buy number: 2169560821
I would recommend this to a friend!

Google Chromecast Audio: Stream your favorite music with Google Chromecast Audio. Simply plug into your speaker's auxiliary input and connect to your Wi-Fi network. Then just tap the Cast button from your favorite apps on your phone, tablet or computer to cast songs, radio stations and podcasts to your speaker.

What is the difference in sound quality using 3.5 mm-3.5 mm jack, 3.5mm-RCA jack or 3.5 mm-optical jack for a receiver, an integrated amp or a Marantz CD player with optic input?

Let me just say I really don't notice a whole lot of difference, but I have people who do have better sense of sound who find the optical jack much better. I do 'imagine' highs and lows sounding better when I know an optical connection is being made, but I really can't tell if doing a blind test. I do notice the difference when using CD's, dvd's or blueray because I think the quality of the recording is better and more direct as opposed to being streamed by wifi.

There is no difference in RCA and 3.5mm they are both analog. Thicker cable on both over a long distance might prevent potential interference. But Optical is a 'cleaner' signal and digital with more information.

works with a windows phone?

NO, but I have heard there are complicated work arounds. I would go with bluetooth or continue looking for a wifi solution.

Will it work with Sonos speakers?

I don't know why you would want to because SONOS smart speakers have their own app to stream music via wifi and ethernet cable. It would be a duplication. BUT if the SONOS speaker has an audio input then you could technically connect your Chromecast Audio, but like I said it is Duplication and a waste. Either use the SONOS smart Speaker OR use the CHromecast with a 'dumb' amplified speaker.

Can I plug it on my tv

Only if you want to use the TV speakers for audio. It is for audio NOT Video. So I would pass on this and look at the Ruku, Apple TV or Fire TV products so you can do both audio and video.
