Buy Garmin

I bought this GOS for the Live Traffic Updates feature. I drive three hours a day for work. I know how to get there, but I bought the device to warn me of any traffic problems. No where in the product description on any web site I have seen or on the box does it tell the buyer the Live Traffic Updates is through your smart phone, not the device.
If I knew that in advance I would not have bought this device. My old TomTom GPS did the traffic updates over the device, not the phone. The buyer should know this in advance or the owner of the device should have the option to use a smart phone or the device for the updates. I would take this GPS back if I could get the money. Now I will just give it to a person that could use it for the maps but not the updates.
I am looking into a Garmin. I doubt I will buy another TomTom device again because I do not appreciate this was not known before I bought it. I am not the only person who is disappointed with this device. At least they are lucky and are able to return it to the store for a refund. I originally bought it for directions when I needed them. The Live Traffic Updates were not that important so I did not know about this until now. Unfortunately it is too late to return this one.
What's great about it: It has accurate maps
What's not so great: Live Traffic Update
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Surprisingly good!

I never heard of the book before the movie came out. When I saw the first poster for this movie in the lobby of the local theater, I thought this was a joke. When I took a closer look at the poster I noticed this is a Tim Burton film.
Burton does have crazy ideas. I do not think I would have gone to this film if it was not done by him. I did not know what to expect because there were not many trailers available for this film either. I found out this was adapted from a book about a week before this was released to the theater so I did not read the book.
Within the first five minutes of the film I knew from the style of film Burton did not direct this. I thought this was going to be a disappointment. It was not.
What I liked most about the movie is it did not go between a drama and a quirky comedy. There were not any cute puns (which I absolutely hate) to change the tone of the story or the characters. The script stayed on track.
Many critics blamed the movie for taking itself too seriously. I think it did the right thing. If it would have gone between drama and comedy it would have not had a purpose.
This movie is fun despite the fact it is a drama. It tells the alternative story of Abraham Lincoln. I know there are not vampires and this movie was not attempting to convince people there are. It is clearly a piece of serious fiction like 'The DaVinci Code.'
If people want an escape from reality with some fun storytelling and great action sequences this is a great movie to see!
What's great about it: Interesting story, well written, stayed focused in one genre.
What's not so great: N/A
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best Disney Movie Since "The Lion King"

Disney used to be the best at animated films. It seemed the Disney magic was lost forever after the release of "Beauty and the Beast" and "The Lion King." From what I have read, "Tangled" will be the last fairy tale animated movie Disney will do (at least for a really long time). I am happy Disney ended their animation of fairy tales on such a solid movie. I loved "Tangled" from start to finish. The story was fun and the dialogue was very entertaining for adults. I am divorced and I know it would be acceptable to just rent "Tangled" on my weekends with my son, but I know I will buy this movie for my personal collection. If you have not seen "Tangled" yet I recommend you purchase it as soon as the movie is in the store! You will love it! Thank you, Disney!

A must have soundtrack for Bowie fans

I will have to admit, I only bought this soundtrack for one track on it. I love the re-make David Bowie did of the song Cat People. The original version of Cat People is great. However, the re-make is even better than the original version. I love the opening to the new version. It has a very dark and eerie sound that Bowie fans will love. I have not listened to any other tracks on this CD so I am not able to comment on the rest of the content of this CD. It is worth the purchase price for Cat People alone!

Does it give truck routes for large trucks
Not that I am aware of. Even if it does, I would not recommend this device. I'm looking into a Garmin.
