Bought to use between my old XP and new Windows 7 PC. Didn't want to get rid of XP PC when updates stopped so now not online but can use with one keyboard/mouse and monitor.
So easy to install and I bought it when it was on sale for one day, online only and saved 30%. Still great at regular price, just got lucky

500Gb Pata IDE hard drive availability
I'd like to get a new 3.5 500gb pata ide hard drive for my xp computer. Don't laugh, I do have a Win7 laptop, but a lot of my XP software either doesn't work or works poorly under Win7. Know that MS is killing their XP support in April, so I want a clean hard drive with all the latest XP upgrades before the support goes away. Much cheaper than buying all the new software to run on Win7, and don't even think about suggesting Win8. Have yet to find a single person with a laptop that cares for it.
I bought the Seagate 500gb for use with win 7 and works great! Hard a copy on Win 7 so only cost was HD which was very reasonable.
Go get it and update asap
