I have a conventional toaster/oven that I have owned for many years, and it still works well. When I read about the features of this DeLonghi, I wanted to give it a try, and I have not been disappointed. Before you even open it, you see a device that will look good on a kitchen counter. It's footprint is smaller than my old oven, yet it has more cooking space and, of course, more features. Included are a wire rack, nonstick coated pizza pan and a nonstick baking pan. There is also a great manual (rare these days), which includes detailed instructions for use of the oven, as well as recipes for a variety of dishes than can be cooked in it. There is a "keep warm" feature, a great convenience. Controls are up front and easy to read. One feature I especially like is the interior light!
No convection cooking yet; but for what I have tried, it has worked very well. Of my favorites so far, using the included nonstick pizza pan and the easy settings, I enjoyed a frozen California Kitchen BBQ chicken pizza in a relatively short time. Crust was done very well and toppings were hot. It's also great for hot sandwiches. I loaded up ham and Swiss on multi-grain bread and put it in the oven using the baking pan. The outcome was a terrific sandwich: bread was perfectly toasted, the ham was warm, and the cheese was melted perfectly. An additional plus is you don't have to use the big oven in your stove.....saving energy and money.
I am loving this DeLonghi oven and would definitely recommend it.

To say this vacuum sucks would be a compliment! That’s what you want a vacuum to do, and this one has great power to do it. Aside from that asset, there is a lot to like about the F80. In fact, there is only one thing that bothers me about it. So, let’s get that out of the way first.
By its design, the F80 is top heavy. When using it, it’s no big deal. However, if you need to take a break or just need a moment to move something out of your way, you have to collapse the handle (or lay the vacuum down on the floor) so it doesn’t fall over. If it topples, there could be damage to it or anything it hits on the way down. Then, to restart vacuuming, you have to repeat the whole process in reverse. That’s too awkward for a moment in time.

The F80 is very easy to like. The fact that it can’t stand on its own bothers me, and I considered taking away a star for it. However, as I have written this review, I realize that wasn’t worth a whole star. Since I can’t post 4.5, I’m rounding up. The F80 is a very worthy vacuum, and I would recommend it.

This is a lot of TV for a “fit into the budget” price! For less than $400, you get a 50” screen, HDR-compatible 4K UHD, Quad-core processor for streaming, Amazon Fire TV (more viewing options), remote which includes voice control Amazon Alexa, and very easy setup. In addition, the 3 HDMI inputs and 1 USB input let you connect a lot of peripherals for even more viewing. Yes, all that and more for an affordable price.
I expected this to be a good TV, but I was very pleasantly surprised by how good it actually is. TV reception, streaming video, and watching movies on BD discs are all a pleasure! Oh, let’s not forget streaming music! It’s pretty much a full circle of entertainment opportunity, all without spending $1,000+.
If you need/want an affordable TV offering a lot of viewing/listening pleasure, this one is made for you! Heck, buy two, and you still can save money.

The Good: The Tango X is a nice printer that operates wirelessly and is compact enough for easy portability. For a printer, one could even say it’s attractive in appearance, and comes with a grey “bookbinder” cover, adding to its cuteness. Via a downloadable app, it prints documents and photos in b&w and color from your smart phone, tablet, etc. In addition, it is purported to be Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Cortana compatible. The paper tray has a 50 page capacity.
Setup is very easy right out of the box. Download the HP Smart app, plug printer into an outlet, install the two ink cartridges, load paper, and let the app instructions guide you through the Bluetooth connection. You are ready to print!
Printing is not fast, but is OK, and is fairly quiet. Document print quality is very good.

The Not So Good: Photo print quality is just OK. Colors are a bit flat, rather than vivid, especially when compared to other HP printers with which I am familiar.
As to using voice commands for printing, that is unsuccessful so far! My Amazon Alexa recognizes the Tango, and sends items to print; however, nothing prints! Searching HP’s site is of no help.
The price is a bit steep, as compared to other HP printers that provide additional functions.

Bottom Line: The Tango X is a nice portable printer. It is wireless, easy to set up, has some nice features, and prints documents well. Voice command and photo printing are not done so well. HP makes a number of fine printers; and, given the shortcomings and pricing of this one, I would not recommend it to a friend.

The SRS-X801 is a David to a lot of Goliaths out there. Also, like David, it packs a punch, proving that size isn’t everything!
One of the things I have long liked about Sony electronics (TVs, BD players, Bluetooth speakers, etc.) is they are essentially “plug and play,” making them very easy to set up as compared to some other brands. The same is true with the X801. Having fully charged it, I was able to pair it with both my Echo Show and my wireless phone within seconds on the first attempt, and it was ready for the music. A definite plus!
First using it with the Echo, I discovered the speakers built in volume control does not allow the speaker to get loud. Not a problem for me, because it is certainly loud enough for comfortable listening. Volume decrease takes it all the way down. Just to see if I could, I was able to coax a louder volume by using the Echo’s remote control.
Audio quality is surprisingly excellent for such a small device and at a relatively modest price. Pink Floyd, U2, Sarah McLachlan, classical, etc. all sound good! The X801 is water resistant, has speaker phone capability, is highly portable, and seems as if it’s going to have good battery life (used it about 3 hours at the longest stretch, and it was still going strong).
The only thing I could say as a negative is it comes with a USB cord (very short), but it does not come with an adaptor plug. Fortunately, I had a couple laying around. This, of course, has nothing to do with the X801’s performance which certainly overshadows that minor shortcoming.
This little David is a giant killer!

The MEGABOOM M3 is a tall black cylinder and plays music in a 360-degrees fashion, not unlike the original Echo. In addition, it is a Logitech brand, which gives it credibility in my book.
The M3 comes out of the box with all you need to start using it: the device itself, micro USB cable, and a charging adaptor. It is refreshing to see an included adaptor, because fairly frequently these days, you don’t get one. There is a wireless charger that can be purchased separately, if you wish.
The M3’s audio quality is excellent; and, with the 360-degrees design, it sounds great anywhere in the room or out on the deck. Sound is very clean via the Bluetooth connection, even at a distance from the music source. My primary source is an Echo Show located downstairs in my house. I can take the speaker upstairs or out on my deck, and the connection remains strong.
With regard to usage starting with a full battery, the M3’s material says up to 20 hours. I can’t really attest to that, but I can say I have used it for about 4 hours straight on one occasion, and the charge still had 90% remaining. That 20 hour projection might be spot on.
Another plus is the M3 has a “Magic Button” on top that lets you play, pause, and skip, no matter the music source. Also, if you out at the pool, the M3 is said to be waterproof and will float (haven’t tried that yet).
While I really like the M3, it is not perfect:
--Bluetooth pairing: My primary music source is via Echo devices. Several attempts to pair the M3 with my Echo Show were unsuccessful. After a rather long period, the Echo would recognize the M3, but it failed to make a connection. Putting that aside, I attempted a connection with my Galaxy S8+, and that was quickly paired. I did find that when I attempted to do something on my phone, the music stopped. No worries about that. With the Galaxy success, I went back to the Echo and was able to connect quickly. Odd, but perhaps Alexa was being coy the first time around. An annoyance, but all is good now.
--The volume controls are rather artistic: up is a large “+”, and down is a large “l”. The artistry is fine, and they do work well; however, you do need to learn the location of the sweet spot on each for them to actually work. In addition, if you press the two simultaneously, you will be told (most of the time) the battery charge remaining as a percentage.
Because the MEGABOOM M3 is really an excellent speaker with some nice ancillary features, and in spite of the little annoyances, I have rated it 5 stars and would certainly recommend it. Another plus for Logitech.

I am a huge APC fan, having used their battery backup products for years. I started long ago with a unit for my computer. Later, as I began to upgrade my TVs to increasingly smarter and more expensive models, I got two more APCs for the TVs and their peripherals. Rarely have I had to depend on them for power for any significant length of time, but when a power outage did occur, they were on the job.
The 600VA is a new, sleeker model than my 3 other operational APCs, making it ideal for backing up my modem/router, which is located in a closet. I had not previously thought of using one on the modem, but as we are in hurricane season with a storm approaching, it might just come in handy. It's advertised as providing up to 4.3 hours of power to a home network. Depending on how many devices you are trying to power, I don't doubt the claim. After fully charging, I tried it out on just one laptop with minimal use and got 6.5 hours before I stopped testing it out.
The 600VA has 7 surge protected outlets, 1 USB port, and 1 data port providing lots of backup opportunities. That said, if the power does go out and you want to maximize battery usage, remember to unplug any devices that aren't critical to you during the outage. Also, it comes with a 5’ cord and a 3 year warranty. In the years that I have used APC, I have had 1 device that finally needed to be replaced (well after the warranty period). Instead of buying a new battery, I simply bought another device, because it didn’t cost that much more than just buying a replacement battery, especially if it was on sale.
I love APC and do recommend the 600VA.

The 27q is a very nice monitor with an excellent visual display (sharp with great color resolution) right out of the box. Response is fast and viewing from an angle is without distortion. The base has a large footprint; but, on the plus side, it should make the monitor difficult to knock it over. In addition, it is wall mountable, if you prefer that.
While the 27q is definitely a great monitor to have, there are peripheral matters to be aware of. The BB online description says an owner’s manual is enclosed. That is incorrect. The almost non-existent information that comes in the box tells you to go to the HP website for owner’s manual and any assistance needed, including checking for software updates. Unless something changes at a later date, entering the serial and product numbers gets no results…so much for online help! Also, set up required some settings tweaking to get audio to work. Once that’s done, it’s all good.
If I could have taken off half a star, I would have rated 4.5 due to the informational issues. However, because the 27q’s performance is 5 star, I have rounded up instead of down. It’s also reasonably priced.

Philips Norelco makes many very good grooming products, and the 3500 is another one. It is reasonably priced and is designed to provide a full body (almost) shave wherever you need it. The “almost” qualifier is that it is not for your face or scalp. Philips has other options for that.
The 3500 is design to be used with foam or gel and wet or dry, so use it in the shower if you like. It is sturdy, and body design makes it comfortable to use. One nice feature for those with hairy backs is the enclosed clip-on attachment which extends your reach. For trimming, there are 3 combs for different hair lengths. Importantly, it gives you almost as close a shave as you can get with a razor. Another plus is the up to an hour run time lithium-ion battery, when fully charged. There is a battery status indicator, so no surprises half way through your trimming job.
As a caution, you want to be extra careful working in the more personal areas, as you might get nicked. Also, you may find it works better for you without the guards, but you choose what's best for you.

I paired the M9700 with my Samsung SUHD 3D TV using a UHD HDMI cable, and set up was done in less than 5 minutes. This was amazing, because Samsung products, which I like very much, are sometimes a bit more involved than plug and play. Off to a good start, I then loaded Jurassic World on BD and was totally amazed at the quality of both video (True 4K UHD) and audio (Dolby True HD and DTS HD).
With a quick connect to your Wi-Fi, Netflix, Amazon, and other streaming sites are readily available. All you have to do is sign in to be good to go. Also, the M9700 can play CDs, mirror with your Android smartphone’s/tablet’s little screen onto the TV’s big screen, and it provides Bluetooth connection. Using the player’s remote, it turns on the Samsung TV (can’t speak to other brands) at the same time as the player; however, when you use the same remote to turn off the player, it does not turn off the TV….an annoyance, but not enough for me to downgrade the player’s performance.
For the price, I would have expected 3D to have been included, but I knew no 3D going in. Bottom line, the M9700 is a top shelf device providing excellent video and audio output…another Samsung job well done!
