Enjoy crisp sound with this Polk Audio CSi A4 center-channel speaker that features two 5-1/4" polymer composite midranges and a 1" silk/polymer dome tweeter. Klippel Optimization ensures efficient operation at several volume levels.
After I upgraded the LF / RF to RTi A5, the center became noticeably weak and I had to get this baby. Wow, what an improvement - voices were suddenly legible and subtitles weren't a must. When the voice moved to LF or RF, the character didn't sound like a different person. While Audyssey detected it a bit low (+2dB) compared to A5s (0dB), it was much better than the older one (+6dB). Overall, couldn't be happier for the price I paid ($ 1 6 0).
What's great about it: The sound quality, the looks, almost everything that matters for a speaker
What's not so great: Nothing really. Well, it's a little less efficient but that's nitpicking and can be fixed in the receiver settings

The Honeymoon is over

It worked great at first, then the trouble started. Wireless disconnects regularly. Then I started loosing wired connections. The disk drive won;t stay mounted/connected and usually the transfer rate is so slow that it is worthless. After looking in the WD Community Forum (http://community.wd.com/t5/My-Net-Networking-Devices/bd-p/network_devices) for an answer, I found several threads related to these issues. None of them had a viable solution. I found 1 thread called, "N900 Central - Failure at its best - Next steps?". It is marked as solved. The solution, "My solution, that has worked 100% of the time is to purchase a linksys or a netgear router.". Since WD support had replies in the thread, I assume they approved and closed the thread. I think I am going to upgrade from wireless-N to wireless-AC, and not a WD brand. I have not had luck with other WD products.

Not quite what I expected
ByEagle2769fromPa
I was hoping an AC router would give me better performance streaming to my tablet. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. Two things I have noticed: 1. No speed degradation on large downloads; that was a constant problem with my old router. I thought it may be my ISP, but since I don't have the problem any longer, I'm guessing it was the router. 2. My powerline network functions no problem - it stopped working on my old router.

Um, if everything get 4/5, why is the overall score 3/5?
