This is a must if you use a light stand and want versatility with position or you use an umbrella as a modifier. This is very well made compared to other brackets. One thing to be careful of is the shoe mount is metal which could damage the flash. The shoe mount does not detach. I put a "Zoom HS-1 Hot Shoe Mount" in between the shoe mount and my speedlight. It easily will connect to the speedlight stand. Or if that's too bulky the "Frio V2 Locking Coldshoe" works perfect making this an excellent combo for a speedlight set up.

I use these lightstands to put my SB 700 speedlights on. They are sturdy enough for me to put modifiers on my flashes which sometimes can be heavy and awkward. The height adjustment is perfect for portraits. A nice bonus is that it came with a carrying case which also fits the " Insignia Dual Layer Convertible Umbrella" in with it.

I purchased this camera in a bundle pack with the 18-140mm lens. This is a great combo. For a APS-C camera this has a plethora of settings and features. The control over picture taking is amazing. There are so many in camera tweaks to help get your photos looking the way you want. Once you get used to navigating around the controls there's nothing you can't do with this camera. Build quality is excellent. It's durable and so far it appears to be very well constructed. I've been having non stop fun and getting good quality pictures with this camera.

I purchased this Hotshoe adapter because it's more durable than most I've seen. Could be a good thing depending on what you use it for. I originally wanted to use it to connect my SC-29 TTL remote cord to a speedlight stand. This way when the speedlight is connected to the cord it will sit balanced on a table. Trouble is the wheels are big and clumsy. I find myself fussing to get enough thread of the screw into the speedlight so it doesn't topple over. I still give it three stars because it is durable.

This is a great lens for low light photography. I've used it out side at night on a Nikon D3300 and Nikon D7200. Both being DX cameras. The wide f/1.8 aperture makes easier to get the pictures I want at a lower ISO. However I did find some issues with focusing. At times the lens couldn't get focused. I found this to be the case in a well lit place as well as low light. When it was in focus it took really nice pictures. This lens is very well made. I feel it's a nice choice for a APS-C camera.
