Gave this to my brother for Christmas after he voiced his concern for the lack of sonic fidelity in other brands. For the price and sound it is a great deal.
For the Stone devotees this is a welcome addition to their collections. This album is about the blues roots the Rolling Stone listened and learned from.

This is a wonderful recap of the 1980 acoustic set that the boys did on both coasts. The remastered sound is beautiful and the performances are beautiful. Listen to the Birdsong and the amazing Heaven Help the Fool.
Although we could have all chosen personal favorites from the best band in all of the land, this set gives you a great sampling of shows and sound quality from each year. It is a shame the box was so expensive. For me this is a wonderful set of songs that will keep me listening.

Great show from beginning to end with Branford Marsalis sitting in on Bird Song and the entire 2nd set. His playing added new dynamics to the songs as well as the band. The interplay between Branford and Jerry is great.
