Really it is ... is the best smartphone on the market. Fast, super excellent screen. Coming from Samsung have to be the best screen. Good for use outside when is very sunny. The S-Pen have more improvements, very accurate and responsive. The battery last the whole day, probably sometimes you going to need to charge during the day but that's not a problem with the fast charger.
Try also the wireless charger, it's amazing, fast and convenient. Is going to replace the lack of new C-USB cables. Because no cables need it and wireless chargers works with old charger cables.
My last advice ... wait until goes on special because the price is too high.

The WeMo is going to need a WiFi to be connect to internet. It can be a hotspot provided by verizon network and the WeMo is going to work as soon the WeMo is connected to internet.

Will the app control the device if you are traveling outside of the USA?
When I travel international I use an international carrier and I use wi-fi. I would like to use this to turn lights on or a radio source will away on my next trip for about 3 weeks. Just want a reliable device to help me put my mind at ease.
Yes, the app is going to control the WeMo. Anywhere where you have internet access and the WeMo switch still connected to internet, the app is going to work.

No, they connect by bluetooth signal. Like the bluetooth of your phone, tablet, PC or TV on some cases. If you want to connect to your TV probably you need to purchase an Output Audio Bluetooth Transmitter. That is going to transmit your TV audio and you can listen with the headphones on that way.

It can be charge with a low current output charger, like the one for your smartphone. It came with the cable to charge the headphones, just plugged it to your phone charger that you connect to 220V outlet.

I would like a set of over the ear headphones that come with built in hearing protection. Would this set work for that? I am often in a noisy environment and would like a dual purpose set. If not these can you recommend others?
Negative. These headset doesn't have noise reduction ... I read that some people didn't recommend for noisy environments.

can these headphones connect to my Sony 7.2Ch 4K A/V receiver w/bluetooth (STR-DH750)??
My mom just bought a new home stereo receiver which is the Sony 7.2Ch 4K A/V receiver w/bluetooth (STR-DH750). She also bought the skullcandy hesh 2 wireless headphones w/bluetooth. Can those headphones connect/pair with the Sony stereo receiver WITHOUT having to pair the headphones to a smartphone? She just had to exchange the LG Tone Pro wireless bluetooth headset for these skullcandy headphones because the LG Tone Pro headset can ONLY connect to a smartphone or ipod and not to a home stereo receiver. My mom is old and doesn't own an ipod or smartphone, she listens to music on the radio (Sirius XM satellite radio) or she plays CD's on her home stereo. So i want to make sure that these skullcandy headphones can connect to the home stereo receiver via bluetooth? Neither the Sony stereo receiver nor the skullcandy headphones came with a user manual or detailed instructions that explain how to connect/pair the headphones with the Sony stereo receiver. I must be missing a step and not realizing it?? HELP!
I never tried with the A/V Receiver with Bluetooth but my recommendation is to try first put the heatset in pairing mode (from OFF position hold the power button for 5 sec then you can heard the confirmation that the heatset is in pairing mode) then set your A/V Receiver in Pairing mode. Probably you already try that, if doesn't work check if your Sony A/V Receiver is capable of transmit Bluetooth. In the negative case, you need to purchase a Bluetooth transmitter to pair your Skullcandy headset. Good luck!
