For gaming, this monitor performs beautifully. It's fast and has great colors in game. Love that aspect and for the price and I very happy with my purchase.
However, outside of games it's pretty bad. Spreadsheets and text are okay and it's usable as a work monitor but don't expect it to be a winner in that department. It's a trade off so you'll have to decide if you can live with that. If you depend on your monitor for accurate color representation, etc for graphics and photography, you will definitely want to pass on this one.
