I would like to get a tablet for school but i do not know which would be better buy for a student the Apple iPad pro or the Microsoft surface pro tablets.

Surface Pro without doubt. I'm a teacher and a designer. Ipads are amazing tools, but incomplete. Your Ipad will not be able to run PC or Mac software, which is what your classes will demand. If you can only get one- DEFINITELY the surface. (I have both, and both are amazing, but if I had to have just one, Surface without doubt.)

I want to purchase this for a trip to Hawaii that will be a very active trip. I currently have my phone in a reg case w/ the zags invisibleShield Glass Luxe.. I am curious if this case is best to be used w/ or w/out the screen protector I already have on my phone.

I keep a thin plastic screen protector on mine, but not the glass type. I'm not sure that the warrantee against water would still be valid if you had a leak using this, but it has worked for me!
