Please note that the exclusive contents of this Best Buy edition consist of a key chain only, which is cool but fairly small. Apparently there is no extra video content. I make this clarification since the sticker describing the exclusive content is confusing.
The movie is fine, not one of the best ones but has great voice acting and is based on a great story. The deluxe edition packaging with the figurine and book is very cool.
Good continuation of the Marvel run of fun and well done movies, but honestly there's nothing wildly new or innovative in this movie. The challenge is now to avoid superhero fatigue!
Harman Kardon Onyx Studio Speaker:Take the gift of great sound with you wherever you go with this speaker that utilizes a nearby Bluetooth-enabled laptop, tablet or phone to help you wirelessly stream music. Four powered speakers and dual passive radiators deliver rich, dynamic audio.
I thought this speaker would be good when I bought it, but I was surprised on HOW good it is. Great battery life for such a great sound and output volume. Excellent bass level and sound definition. No distortion at loud volumes. Light weight. I wish it had a aux-in plug, but can easily be linked to anything with a bluetooth connection. Recommended!
After what I considered a weak album (If Not Now, When?) it's very nice to get such a strong release from Incubus. All four songs in this EP sound fresh and current, while still having the flavor of the earlier Incubus albums, straight forward yet very complex. A really great EP, strongly recommended!
This is a nice 2-track sampler of Modest Mouse's Strangers to Ourselves, including the songs 'Lampshades On Fire' and 'The Ground Walks, With Time In A Box'. Since it comes with a two dollar discount for the full album, it pays itself. If you are buying the full album, this sampler is definitively worth buying as a freebie!
The wait was clearly worth it. After many years without an album, Modest Mouse return with an excellent record that still sounds like the old Modest Mouse but with a very fresh sound. Extremely recommended!
This is an enjoyably fresh project from Nathan Willett and Matt Maust of Cold War Kids, including We Barbarians drummer Nathan Warketin. The music does sound along the lines of Cold War Kids, but with an added urgency that is very refreshing. Absolutely worth checking out!
This is Primus' take on the soundtrack of the 1971 original Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory movie. Considering this as a cover album, Primus were able to do a great job giving their own sound to these songs, making a very refreshing and interesting sounding album. There are no hard-rockers here, mainly quirky fun songs with interesting instrumentation similar to Claypool's solo album Of Fungi and Foe. Great listen.
The package also included a very cool large size t-shirt with the album logo. Definitively worth the extra money!
