Fantastic Laptop Replacement

I bought this for my wife for the holidays as her macbook pro was on it's last legs (8 years old). She was initially concerned about using an iPad Pro for all her computing, but has now found that she does more on her iPad Pro than she did on her laptop. She's an educator and uses it daily with the pencil, and I have also used the pencil and iPad Pro for some drafting of our basement remodel process. It is extremely easy and accurate to work with. The 12.9" is HUGE and AWESOME and with a keyboard case it actually is about as heavy as my laptop. I don't think this is a bad thing, though, as it is still pretty portable.
We use our iPad minis for casual reading, as the iPad Pro gets a little heavy after 30 minutes of reading.
We would have second thoughts about this being our only computing device, however, as we want the ability to archive files on an external hard drive.
Overall, I highly recommend the 12.9" iPad Pro. It's a fantastic unit and worth every penny.

My Toddler really likes this learning pad. He loves the games, taking photos, and drawing. It's a great device to hand him in the car or in church and know that he'll be entertained for a while. We commonly use our iPad for our toddler as well, but there is definitely a need for both as ipad are better for tv shows and movies (and free games). However , the ipad isnt as durable so the leappad is our first choice.

FitBit, In my opinion, has the best social interface and this fitness band doesnt leave anyone wanting for the price. It's solid, feels nice, and the color is quite nice (not super generic purple). Set it up and get walking! My family has a competition with the App on activity. It's super fun.

This hair dryer is the best I've had. It's light weight and really has a lot of blow to it which allows to dry without overheating your hair and yourself. We light it so much we're buying one for each of our parents, who use something that takes 4x as long to dry. Highly recommend. Best Buy shipping and pricing was competitive and easy. Fantastic TV! Best TV I've owned

This TV is really great - just like all the reviews say. Now, yes, it is expensive and I had to get over that. To compare, I had a really nice plasma TV prior to this TV - and many of the LEDs and LCDs jsut seemed washed out compared to what I've been used to with my plasma black levels. This TV blows the plasma experience out of the water. It's like looking out a window. It's beautiful.
User experience-wise, the apps are great, navigation and setup is an absolute breeze. I'm eager to use the built in DirecTv functionality once I upgrade my DirecTv main genie box. Then I can use the LG voice control for channel finding... Who ever remembers channel numbers?
I opted for the curve screen, and I don't know that it makes a big difference in experience. Had I to do it all over again, maybe I'd do flat for wall mounting. That said, the glare with the curve screen is really minimal, so that's a plus!
Speakers seem to be a little weak - so those that are forking out serious bucks really should have a sound solution in mind. I have a Sonos Playbar and Sub that compliment this TV well.
I have no regrets on this TV. Everyone that comes over remarks on it's picture and functionality. A definite repurchase and has LG on my radar for other products.

Can you use this to work your lights, garage doors and alarm system?
As long as the products have Alexa skills then they are able to be controlled with the device. I have Phillips Hue lights that are controlled via Alexa. I haven't set up the garage door controller yet, and do not have a security system. I'd imagine any Ring security system would integrate, however, as they are owned by Amazon.

No - the device has no outputs.I'd recommend getting a Fire TV stick or box for such applications.
