This has been great for our family. Used mostly to access Netflix. It does much better than going through our old desktop running Vista on the same network. Desktop had occasional buffering. Apple TV has experienced no buffering watching same tv episode. AirPlay is a added bonus since we all have Apple phones and pads/laptops
