This one is pretty hilarious. I didn't find the first one to be all that funny, so I wasn''t sure about bothering with this one, but I'm glad I did. A lot funnier and a better story than the first one.
The movie itself is pretty funny, but the best thing about it is the chemistry between Hart and Johnson. They feed off each other very well. Can't wait to see them in other projects together.
This release features three cult horror films from director Lucio Fulci: City of the Living Dead - A priest's suicide opens the gateway to Hell and frees bloodthirsty zombies to roam the town of Dunwich. House by the Cemetery - When a family temporarily moves into a mansion near Boston so the father can do some research, the son Bob (Giovanni Frezza) starts seeing the ghost of a young girl motioning to him and he eventually discovers the basement's terrible secret. The New York Ripper - Jack Hedley stars as a hard-bitten police lieutenant tracking a sadistic sex-killer.
The king of Italian "giallo" whodunit horror Dario Argento leaves his twisted mark on three chilling features. A blind puzzle maker and a curious journalist untangle the sordid scandal behind a cluster of murders in The Cat O' Nine Tails, the savage ax murder of a female clairvoyant drags an expatriate pianist into a cat-and-mouse chase into Rome's heart of darkness in Deep Red, and a young woman is the only thing that stands between three evil sisters and total worldwide carnage in Inferno.
This set includes three great Argento classics packaged together. I never got around to buying the individual releases, so I immediately jumped on this set when I saw it. Not only is it cheaper than buying the separate releases, but it also saves precious shelf space.
