Fantastic mesh router for special requirements

I wanted a mesh system that allowed me to have remote network (NIC) ports for a server and different smart devices (Sonos, Phillips, etc). This worked fantastically. Set up was a breeze on the ipad app. I love that i have the network key saved in the app. Easy to check speeds and troubleshoot / issue guest keys from my phone. Not the cheapest system but it just works. In an ideal world it would be smaller and maybe offered in black, but it's a mesh wifi with 4 network ports on the router and the satellite - so I'm willing to deal.

gave it a try for $15. Had a ps4 controller and wanted to see how it worked. trust me (and almost every other reviewer out there) give it a pass. It does work, but it doesn't work well. Poor windows support. Really just for Sony's streaming service. And it sticks out oddly! Just not the best solution. Find another PC game pad like a xbox controller or Steel Series.

Had to pick up a hard drive to do a back up and had my toddler with me. It was close to nap time and he was a little fussy (he's really a great kid). Picked these up for a little of nothing and he loved them for about three days strait - which is great for a toddler! He still keeps them in the dress up box. I love it when he puts them on with a a yellow hoodie and speaks his version of Minioneese! I think I paid $4? No brainer.

a good dark roast

Every so often BB has sales on k-cups, when they do, I pick up a case or two of these. It's not my normal go-to dark roast (San Fran - Fog Chaser) but it's good for the price (when on sale). Cups are in good condition. No grounds in cups. Watch for a sale and then use up rewards for cheap (free?) coffee.
and remember, contrary to popular belief, dark roasts have less caffeine!

Mac mini now has fourth-generation Intel Core processors, increased graphics performance, and ultrafast 802.11ac wireless networking. It also features two Thunderbolt 2 ports, great built-in apps, and OS X Yosemite. And it's still the world's most power-efficient desktop.

An easy HTPC - but needs help

Purchased as a cheap HTPC that didn't look like a pc. It's a cute box. Build quality it great. However, internals are just a little weak. To make it more snappy, I replaced the internal HD with a SSD and it really helped. Now it's a good little machine for it's purpose (HTPC, Imessage in living room, etc). RAM is soldered on MB so if you buy this, you are stuck with 4GB. So, it will only be a light computer - very little you can upgrade (basically only the drive). Fine for light office. Do not try to run photoshop or other heavy software unless you are retired and have lots of time to burn! :)

Purchased as a bundle deal with a new computer for a HTPC. Wife wanted a drive connected, even though we've not watched an actual DVD for over 6 months. Oh well. Blu-ray drives are still pricey. Wish this was a little bit less. However, it works just fine. I've had it connected to both Windows 10 & Mac and both see it instantly. So, if you need a USB power Blu Ray, this is a good one.
Wish it was slot load or cheaper (or in a perfect world, both!).

Certain HTPC software natively supports this remote so it makes having a HTPC feel reasonable. For the price and build quality, if you have an imac mini connected to your tv - this is a great buy.

It's a drive. WD has done a great job of brining this down to the affordable level. Notice that it does require both a power and a data cable (as compared to some smaller drives that can run entirely off USB). This seems to like one USB port more than another on my laptop. So if you're getting less than ideal transfer speeds, try another USB port. At these prices - there is no reason not to back up!
