I purchased this 2-in-1 Surface 3 to facilitate working remotely from home and for internet surfing (e.g., Youtube). I love the ability to highlight and make notes on PDFs. The Surface 3 is enough for me--I debated whether I wanted to get the Pro 3, but I decided the smaller size is what I needed. I can use Excel and SPSS with fairly large datasets.
