Very versatile

This is more than a computer monitor. With the HDMI input you can hook up an XBOX. It also has a headphone jack which allows you to hook up speakers and get sound when you are using the HDMI input. I have a DVR with a tuner, so I can use my monitor like a TV.
The picture is amazing. My daughter likes the graphics better than on a high def. TV.
What's great about it: Use HDMI for other devices
What's not so great: Nothing yet
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does this cable come with an HDMI plug in for my laptop?

The monitor does not come with an HDMI cable. It does come with a VGA and a DVI. I hooked my laptop using the VGA cable.

What else do I need to hook this up to my ps3?

What cables do I need and how do I set them up?
You just need an HDMI cable. That is assuming that your game console has HDMI. You have to hook up external speakers, connected to the headphone jack, to get sound this way.
