Works Great; K-cup feature a plus I'm glad to have

I like that this coffee maker will happily accept the common paper filters available from the discount warehouses, but also that I can make one cup at a time. A quick twist of the valve from left to right changes the selection from carafe to travel mug. I can use the included filter to put coffee grounds over there, but that is a messy cleanup whereas the K-cups just pop in and pop out. One thing to remember is that you must push the K-cups all of the way down which punctures the bottom side of the K-cup and then remember to push down the handle that is clearly marked "push down" as that punctures the top of the K-cup as the entrance for water to flow into. I forgot to do that and was rather pleased that the tumbler just filled with hot water instead of some other disaster. The coffee maker then got upset and said "err", but turning the valve back to carafe successfully emptied the misdirected water safely into the carafe so that I could try again and successfully use the K-cup. I mention this because if you find yourself in an early morning haze, the coffee maker is quite forgiving.

Overall good, but quirky menu options

The machine itself works quite well as both a convection oven as well as a microwave and has a quality build. It can definitely heat up leftovers quickly and also make toast. The main thing about it that annoys me are the menu options. For example, to turn the fan on there are SIX levels you must beep through to go from full on to full off. I'd prefer an old-fashioned knob. The hood light is similar On-NightLight-Off, so you have to hit the button twice to turn it off. The cooking menus should have a way of updating them to realistic food. When I want to cook something I have to beep, beep, beep my way to manual mode because I am not cooking biscuits or quiche yet have to scroll past these never-will-use options just to have proper control to cook dinner. The written users manual is all but entirely pointless. Good machine when I have control over it, but poor documentation and wizard controls.

DO YOU HAVE TO ADD WATER FOR EVERY SINGLE CUP
I found this to be true. Add only as much as your travel mug will hold and then make your KCup of coffee. Then you have to start all over.
If you select single cup, but put more than 14oz of water in the system will show "Err" rather than overflowing hot water onto your counter top.

Why does the coffee maker only produce one half cup when more water was put in
Perhaps some was lost to steam and some was lost from being soaked up into the grounds?

Is coffee as strong using kcup ,
That's really up to you. I tend to go light on the carafe side, but if I put a lot of grounds over there I would be just as jittery as the KCup.

I have a error on screen what is wrong
Err seems to mean it has too much water for the single cup and will stop instead of overflowing and dumping hot water all over the counter.
When it happened to me, I found that I had overfilled the system when selecting single cup. To prevent overflowing, you are only allowed to have 14oz of water in the machine when you choose the single cup. I unplugged that machine to reset it (which may or may not have been necessary), but then turn the selector knob back to carafe to dump out whatever water was still in the system. At this point, the coffee maker was entirely empty of water and the err went away.
When making a single cup, such as for a travel mug, just put the water into the travel mug and put only that much water into the machine.

Can you put this over the range microwave in a cabinet getting new cupboards and have a spot built in cupboards for the microwave
It cannot go entirely inside a cabinet if that is what you are asking. If it were completely enclosed then it would vent heat and steam into the cabinet. My kitchen is the typical design where the cabinets flow up and over the stove. I replaced my existing light/fan range hood with this microwave/convection oven. I have cabinets above and on both sides.

Can this be rear vented outside
Yes, definitely. This is covered in the manual. By default, the fan is positioned to vent indoors (recirculate), but the installation instructions also cover how to remove and rotate the fan so that it blows out a pre-existing vent to the outside.
