Blazing consistent speed throughtout my lath and plaster house and my yards.

From unboxing to setup, done in about 15 minutes. I simply reused my old router's wifi SSID and password and my devices connected without any issues. The Linksys router allowed me to streamline my SSID and password to just one for all three bands.
I was a bit skeptical of doing that being unsure if my devices would pick the best band to connect to. I was wrong the quad processor of the router handles that for you giving each device the appropriate band given their distance and surrounding environment to ensure they have the best possible connection all without you ever knowing or being troubled.
The app is great but could use a bit more polish in graphical appearance as I prefer the Netgear Genie software as it has a nicer graphical appearance as well as better feature set, at least to me. I do like that I can use the Linksys app whether home or not and on all my android, apple and windows devices.
The great thing is that the router seems to learn and after a day or two, my devices seemed to not only have the best band assigned to them but that the speeds were super consistent no matter how far I was from the router. I have yet to experience any dropped connections in my 3000 square foot house. Mind you my house is filled with rooms with doors (not an open floor plan) and is built with lath and plaster so lots of wire meshed walls.
Indeed all my 20-26 devices connect at their fastest band and speeds with no effort on my part. I have IP cameras direct to my NVR, And a POE camera in my garage connected indirectly to my NVR via a powerline adapter in my unattached 60 year old brick garage.
Then I have some low priced cameras connected to my network via my electrical outlets...like a powerline setup but I guess powerline is built into the camera.
I have 3 gaming systems, multiple wireless smart TVs, a 10 port gigabit Ethernet switch connected to the Linksys via a 50 foot Ethernet cable with more devices connected to that switch. 3 Roku devices all with great connections and speed.
Best yet is an old netgear R7500 router hooked up to a port on the Linksys to allow me to continue to use my old non WiFi and non AirPrint printers as AirPrint printers through the Netgear genie app and the Netgear print USB utility.
I thought it would not work but Linksys online website had a complete walk through in how to hook up a secondary router (lan to lan) to theirs with an included video.
It worked and now I have additional ports with full access to the software from Netgear that allowed me to use my old non wifi and non air printers with my apple devices...that was shocking. I knew the lan to lan would work but I did not think the printers would be accessible but they are. Mind you this is a 20 plus year old HP 5P printer with old fashion parallel and centronics connections.
We have multiple streaming services, Pandora, Netflix, Vudu, Flixster, Hulu, Amazon and so on with 8 residents of the house aged 7 to 82 with tons of mobile devices accessing these streaming services throughout the day and so far no dropped connections or significant speed degradation.
We LOVE the router, love the quad processor and mostly love having to do nothing but enjoy our devices, our services and the connections. I have cable with 300/20 speeds.
