Big paper weight

Bought this great looking fridge because I thought I was buying Frigidaire quality. Boy was I wrong, after 18 months found out there is a major design flaw from Frigidaire that actually freezes up the ice maker and causes rust to EAT thru the back wall of the appliance. The design flaw was recognized by Frigidaire around 3 years ago and continued to sell to places like Best Buy. They came out with a fix around 8 months ago that is a 2 inch piece of foam that sticky tapes to the entire back wall of the unit. According to my research this "fix" works for about 2 weeks. Problem is that it covers the issue and doesn't fix it, water starts forming behind the foam and forms a bubble of water that just sits on the rust spots making them worse. In some cases eating through the rear fridge wall, rendering it useless. If you dont have extended warranty you will probably have a fight on your hands to get a replacement for your $2000 almost brand new appliance. Good luck
