The first season of Vikings follows the warrior Ragnar as he explores distant and dangerous lands while hoping to pursue his destiny as a Viking chieftan, despite the forces at home who are determined to conspire against him.

Such an amazing series. I don't understand why the seasons are not longer.
Like almost everyone else, the movie shattered my perception of what Vikings and their culture were all about. Pretty much every American junior or high school text book says Vikings were brigands, only pillaged, plundered, and murdered. But in reality, this series tells you they were also fathers, mothers, husbands, wives, and farmers and average Joes, forced to plunder because of circumstances.
Plus you have the amazingly gorgeous Katheryn Winnick, and Travis Fimmel is so amazing as Lothbrok. The way that guy acts, you never know what is coming next: a smile, rage, a hug, or an ax splitting apart your skull.

I never read the comic Arc this was based upon, but still found this movie much better than the previous stand-alone movie about Wolverine. Besides Logan, almost everyone is Japanese and so much Japanese is spoken its perfect for the comic and the manga lovers. With enough to satisfy the wolverine fan, and the anime/manga fan in us.
Only thing that does not make sense in light of Days of Future Past is where did the female warrior go? I thought she was tagging along with Wolverine. And does it mean Logan never met Mariko, and still trying to go after Jean Grey?

Truly of the best and most unique sci-fi/romance movies ever made. Unique in that Hollywood rarely combine sci-fi and love stories, and almost never in this fashion about a man falling for the AI controlling his new operating system. Even if you believe in the concept of "love knows no bounds." That concept will be refined in "Her."

What's great about it: A movie about guy falling for an AI, and getting it right.

While you can fund your PSN store wallet using your credit card, using these cards seems to get you BB points. Then, when you spend the money on the PS Store, and you have a Sony Rewards account linked, you can earn those Sony points. Also good for those afraid to give out credit card numbers to too many online merchants.

While this movie does set up a good premise and is a good prequel to Alien, to me, at least, it has one major story flaw. It has trouble connecting up with Alien. But if you can over look a major inconsistency in the ending, its still a fine sci-fi movie. Warning MAJOR SPOLIERS!:
According to the story and extras, the crew of Prometheus was traveling to LV-223. So it would seem to make sense that the Engineer Ship crashes at the end, does not successfully go to Earth. Then it gets discovered by the crew of the Nostromo at the start of Alien. By then, the Alien Queen has grown, and so goes the story right?
Except one problem, the place that Ripley and the rest of the Nostromo crew went to was LV-426 , which was close, but not actually LV-223. So how does the Queen on a damaged spaceship jump planets all of a sudden?

A movie that delivers intense action, suspense, drama, and will keep you glued to your seat, yet does not require the typical dosage of Hollywood violence. Interesting how the movie portrays all the pirates as driven by circumstance, and loved the Director's decision to use born in Somalia Somalis to play the pirates. Barkhad Abdi should win Best Supporting Actor at the Oscars.
