Can my vehicle be tracked using the Garmin - Dash Cam 35 installed in my vehicle? Or is that GPS used only within the Garmin Dash Cam to document events for future viewing from the SD Card?
Nobody can use it to track you without having access to the data on the sd card. In order to track you it would have to have a cellular chip in it to send and receive data which it does not so it's pretty safe, and even if it did it's unlikely that someone who wanted to track you would use it because dash cams just aren't that common yet. You are much more likely to be tracked by your cell phone or using the cellular capabilities of your car if you drive a fairly new vehicle.
