I was waiting for Seaquest season 1 to be on blu-ray. The countries outside the U.S. had it for a while and I was wondering when we were going to get it in the U.S. I can’t wait to get season 2 in November this year. No word yet when season 3 Seaquest 2032 will be on blu-ray, hopefully soon.
If you are a fan of the Seaquest series I would highly recommend season 1 for you to purchase for your collection.

Justice League vs. Teen Titians: the name of the movie was deceiving. This is like watching moving comic books. Enjoyed the twist to the movie and how the Teen Titans got together as a team, the animation is much better than the TV series on Cartoon Network. I enjoy collecting the DC Universe on video where I can watch it any time I wish and even have a DC marathon. I would highly recommend this movie to the young and young at heart.
Get a copy for yourself and a gift for your friends who enjoy the DC Universe. Check out some of the great titles on the Best Buy website.

Mostly Ghostly: “Have You Met Ghoulfriend?” is a good Halloween movie for the young and the young at heart. This will be nice to watch this movie along with Goosebumps. There not too many good Halloween movies for kids to watch. Most of the ones they have now are gross, not scary.

Journey to the 7th Planet is a “B” rated movie. If like old Sci-fi movies, you will like this one it is from the same creators as “Angry Red Planet” which I enjoyed. They did a nice job restoring the video but the audio was in stereo. This movie will go nicely with my other Sci-fi classics when having a marathon. I would highly recommend this movie to my friends.
Go out and get a copy for yourself or order it on-line. Beware it took forever to get shipped to me. The operator said it would take a few days but was like three weeks. Now I have to wait for the next three day weekend to have time to watch.

Warehouse 13 the Complete Series on blu-ray is nice to have. Now I can watch whenever I have time and not the Syfy channel controlling the shows. The video/audio is great, it like watching Warehouse 13 for the first time. I didn’t get a chance to watch the fifth season, now I can see how the series wraps up the show. There was one crossover episode from the series Eureka included with two Christmas episodes that made this set worth buying. I would highly recommend this series to my friends.
I am still waiting for Syfy Eureka the Complete Series on blu-ray to be available to buy in the U.S. Eureka is only available from Germany on the Amazon website. I am worried if I purchase from Amazon if the product is damage or some other problems with the disc or packaging, I don’t know if I will be able to have it replace. I would rather purchase through Best Buy who are more reliable. They know how to take care of the customers.
Hopefully Andromeda, Babylon 5, and Seaquest 2032 on blu-ray will be sold in the U.S. and carried by the Best Buy website along with some other classic titles. Check out some of the other Sci-fi classics on the Best Buy website. You will be surprised to find out what Best Buy has and some new titles to spark your interest.

I collect the Doctor Who Christmas specials. The Husbands of River Song had that Christmas feel in the beginning but took a different twist which gave some background to the Doctor Who series along with the bonus features. I think Matt Smith was the best Doctor. I don’t know why they changed the character so quickly.

Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens enjoyed it when I saw it in the theaters that I had to get it on blu-ray. The steelbook exclusive is a nice collector’s item to have. They did a nice job with the blu-ray video/audio. With the DTS, I felt I was in the middle of the movie. Normally I don’t watch the extras, but the bonus disc is terrific and I did not finish watching it. I would highly recommend to my friends.
The next holiday I am going to watch all seven episodes to have a Star Wars marathon. Star Wars day May the 4th is on Wednesday or I would have the marathon on that day. I hope Big Bang Theory will have the Star Wars episode that day. Get a copy for yourself and check out some of the other Sci-fi classics on the Best Buy website. You will be surprised to find out what Best Buy has and some new titles to spark your interest. May the 4th be with you.

Space Rangers is a great Sci-fi series. I read about this series on the Best Buy website and decided to buy it because I like anything Sci-fi and classics. It only has six episodes because the series was cancelled after four broadcasts. I enjoyed watching, which has elements of Babylon 5 TV series and the Space Raiders movie. It has two discs; the first disc has the six separate episodes. The second disc has three chronicle episodes, which has two regular episodes together to make a 90 minute movie. The show was short lived and would have been nice to see few more episodes made. I would highly recommend the show to my friends.

I bought Age of Tomorrow on blu-ray because it had Kelly Hu and Robert Picardo. The movie is one of those “B” rated movies they show on the Syfy channel. It would be better to wait when they show it again on TV. For me I collect science fiction movies to have a marathon when there is nothing good on TV and lately that has been a problem with the Syfy channel showing quality movies. Some of the special effects were good, but the storyline was a bit lost, maybe they want to make a sequel.
