I heard a new 3DS was coming out and decided to look into getting one, but was disappointed that it was only being released in Japan and Austrailia.
I've never owned a 3DS in the past, but have always looked for an excuse to pick one up and play the Pokemon games and relive my childhood.
When I happened to stumble across the Nintendo section at my local Best Buy, I found out the New 3DS had indeed released in the US! Out of excitement, I jumped the gun and picked one up for myself and my girlfriend.
I picked up Pokemon for myself and the new Animal Crossing for her. Let me start by saying how amazing the screen is. It's crisp and nothing like any handheld I've used before.
Also, for Happy Home Design, there are these Amiibo cards that my girlfriend adores having, and with the old 3DS, apparently you need an adapter. But this one comes with an NFC reader on the bottom touchpad! I also remember typing on the 3DS in general was a pain, even with the stylus. Worse than those old touch phones from 8 years ago...
But this console did not have that issue! Yes, it is still the same technology, where it senses pressure to read it. But even with my nails or stubby fingers, I'm able to get the letter I want 85-90% of the time. All in all, I would definitely recommend it for anything. The big screen is nice and doesn't strain your eyes and at the end of the day, who doesn't like these cute, fun games?!

Game on the go with the Corsair Gaming K65 gaming keyboard. This keyboard lacks a number pad, making it more compact and leaving more room for your mouse to move. Its detachable, soft-touch wrist wrest limits wrist fatigue. The Corsair Gaming K65gaming keyboard has Cherry MX Red key switches for added responsiveness along with customizable backlighting and anti-ghosting keys.

I had the 2016 Blackwidow Chroma Ultimate

This Corsair keyboard blew my mind. I came from a long history of mechanical keyboards. I've tried them all, brown, red, blue. Corsair, Ducky, Razer, SteelSeries. I am not partial to any particular brand. The two mice I use are Logitech G550 and the SteelSeries Rival. When someone asks me what's the best keyboard I've used, I would answer Ducky Shine. But for $110, this Corsair keyboard is a close second. Yes, there is no numpad, but I would have never thought that I would prefer it that way. It brings my two arms closer together, and it doesn't feel like I'm overextending my arms apart, having my left hand on the leftmost side of the keyboard (WASD/QWER) while my right arm is on the mouse. I didn't have to tilt my keyboard right side up to be comfortable. It was a game changer. The keys are one of the best I've ever used. And I had. 2016 Blackwidow Ultimate. I don't know what was wrong with it, but I just simply didn't like it. The keys are different, and I personally just prefer red keys for the depress is so crisp and everything just feels much, much better. I was frustrated with the Razer keyboard and ended up just shoving it in a drawer until further notice.
If you have a few hundred to spend on a keyboard, get a Ducky. If you want something that will give you the best bang for the buck, without skimping on quality and reliability, I would definitely recommend the K65 over anything.

Stream video or work on projects with the bold brilliance of this HP LED HD monitor, featuring a wide 25-inch screen for easy viewing. The 7ms response time eliminates ghosting, letting you stay in the action of your favorite PC games. Two HDMI ports on this HP LED HD monitor allow for multiple device connections.

I purchased this monitor on a whim. I've been using an Acer 21.5 inch monitor and it just stopped working one day for me.
I decided to shell out a little extra for something a little bigger. I went to my local Best Buy and this was the only one that was within my price range and size I wanted.
The blacks are...definitely blacker than the Acer monitor I had. Only thing I didn't like is the fact that the image is a little TOO dark when watching a movie or playing a game or something that provides a very dark screen. It's hard to make out the outlines and the details when the lights are on or if the sun is out.
Only thing I could do to solve that issue is raise the brightness, which makes the dark colors look washed out. Other than that, the colors are vivid, crisp and the monitor is very slim and I would highly recommend it to anyone that's looking for a standard monitor. I can't compare with the new OLED or the curved monitor, but when comparing bang for buck, I'm sure this HP monitor will get the job done.
