Nice until it's not

This was an excellent device for the less than three weeks that it ran properly. Purchased Jan 20th and did not immediately take it out of the box due to wanting to mount it on the wall and keep it away from a toddler. Finally had it up and running after a couple of weeks and it was very nice. Nice picture, nice features, good connectivity. On Feb 19th mid day it started having a flickering vertical band across the screen. If you chat with customer support they direct you to a link which gives you a phone number which sends you to a recording which gives you a different phone number at which time you finally get to talk to a person. That person informed me that their system is down for maintenance and that I can call back later at some undertermined time. If you like customer service run arounds maybe this product is for you....if not you might want to pass. Best Buy will not do anything unless it's been less than 2 weeks since purchase not of operation. Unfortunately they're the only place in town that carries what seemed like a better quality product. Should have gone to target and bought a vizio...at least I'd have been out a lot less money.
